    Default recruiting legions

So I feel like I have done everything right but after researching cohort organization I'm not able to recruit anything but spears and the archers that I have bee looking for... In Italia, Rome has the special tree and the other two are state-controlled. Anybody got any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? I've downloaded the guide but I'm still not seeing what it is that I'm missing here. thanks

btw this Ancient Empires mod is awesome. but if it wasn't for the softcore I wouldn't have gotten this far.... I went for sanitation and then I went broke.

Have you built the Auctioned Off lands? Everything is neatly explained in the game's building browser. Which buildings you need for a particular unit can be found by browsing through the buildings - most units are tied to a) main chains, b) land grants, c) military fields and workshops and in rare cases d) to garrison buildings

thanks so much man. really appreciate the work you guys have done on this. Love the historic overview on each turn as well, hope that continues deep into the campaign. My goal is to make it to 1 AD just slow rolling it, there doesn't seem to be much benefit in steamrolling anyway because I go negative when I conquer new lands it seems. Or maybe it's a coincidence. Just my opinion but I think the ones that get on here and say it's too easy are full of it.

There is a bug with Legio II in Roma. They should be recruitable. I've changed Legio II to Legio VII in the db and now I can recruit Legionaries

I wasn't tearing the settlements down to level 1 and converting them over to the Allies tree.
