    Default Is this a bug?

Once again, my faction leader was seeking a wife, when one was chosen for him and he had no choice in the matter. As you see, this wife hinders rather than helps. Now time and political points will be spent to divorce this one and find a better wife.

As I mentioned before, I have never seen this happen in vanilla nor in the many different mods I have played. So is this a feature? Or is it a bug? I suspect it cannot be a feature because noble families in the Republic married for political advantage. Why would a mod be designed to remove that element from the game?

So should I be raising this issue on the bug thread?

Yes. It isn't intentional, so if this isn't part of vanilla it should be considered a bug. If you can provide an example screenshot of what the feature should look like in vanilla, it would help me to locate the source in the game's database

Sorry. I have no intention to play vanilla ever again... I kinda left that behind after my first game. Why do you think I am here?

Damn it! I will take it as a compliment towards the mod

I will look into the issue. It isn't highest priority since a few things like Hellenistic garrisons, which pose a serious balancing problem, are still not all redone. But I will definitely look into it at first opportunity.

Sheridan, I am pretty sure the bug is the automarriage aspect. I have had it happen randomly for a while and seems to still be there. Often times I notice you will seek a wife and the next turn get the pop up if she is good or not (this is normal). If you turn her down and seek again, you will find out the next turn you are now randomly married to someone, no choice. Doesn't always happen, but enough to be noticed.

Vanilla: Always asks if you want to marry the target (randomly generated woman)
Mod: Normally asks, but randomly gives no choice and simply marries randomly generated woman.
It is what it is, nothing more, nothing less
