Known bugs and issues
This thread is a summary of all known bugs and issues in ROP v2.xx, and the status of them.
To report new bugs, not listed here, go here(link).
Note that many of the listed bugs are solved in the soon-to-be-released ROP v2.2.
Campaign Map Problems:
1. Sinope doesn't have a port
Status: Resolved in ROP v2.2
2. Jerusalem province has double AOR
Status: Resolved in v2.2
3. Sparte and Bessoi strat map flags (in FOW or when no units in town) are switched
Status: Resolved in v2.11
4. Babylon's wall not showing up on campaign map
Status: Fixed in version 2.02
5. Sabaeans are kinda stuck in their peninsula
Status: Fixed in version 2.02
Edited the regions map
6. Landbridges cause an unbalanced game
Status: Fixed in version 2.02
Removed the landbridges
7. Some factions don't have spies and diplomats at gamestart
Status: Fixed in version 2.01
8. Grain resources in Egypt cause insane population growth
Status: Fixed in version 2.01
Battle Map Problems:
9. Athenaian marines should have shield defense
Status: Resolved in v2.110. Phalanx animations aren't correct
Status: Resolved in v2.2
11. CTD when starting battle
Status: Partially fixed, version 2.01 - Fixed in v2.2
In the soon-to-be-released ROP v2.2 the infamous battle CTD has been solved.
Miscelleaneous:
12. A quote ends with "-Eastern Wisdom;;"
Status: Resolved in v2.1
13. Some building descriptions are missing
Status: Fixed in version 2.01
14. Win conditions don't show up for all factions
Status: Fixed in version 2.01
15. ROP shows up in windowed mode, but not fullscreen
Status: Easy to fix
You should open the Properties window for the shortcut you start ROP with, and delete the "-ne" part from the "target" line.
(We won't add this switch in our next version)
Balancing:
This is an ongoing story, and needs a lot of input from the community. With every new release, the balancing gets better though.
