"Oh no," I thought, "not another same old same, old battle with Barca". So thank you for at least changing the terrain, to make it slightly less a drudgery.

Interesting changes so far. Not as easy to move past the initial battle and destroy the city of Carthage; I had to bring reinforcements. I am surprised at the political changes, where holding low offices yields no political points, and the slower accumulation of retainers and traits. This last I think is probably a good idea. Jury is out.

Oh, and I arranged a marriage for my son, and actually had a choice in the matter. So happy for that change. Thank you. I will pretend that you were listening to me.

Either I am getting better at dealing with the hand that is dealt at the start, or you guys decreased the level. I may avoid even one rebellion.
