Political marriages delayed
Having a daughter of marriage age should offer the leader of Rome an opportunity to make a political match that brings into the family a general or governor of gravitas. Unfortunately, that is not possible until the daughter is older, when she has 20 points to spend. Meanwhile, foreign rulers are making four or five proposals every turn. This just makes no sense.

It makes no sense that a family member has to earn points to marry a Roman but can marry a foreigner, something that no self respecting Roman family would ever allow.
Any chance that the cost to marry will be reduced to zero?
