Suggestion
I appreciate all of the effort put into the mod, it regenerated my interest in total war again. As I was playing with Parthia, I thought of the idea of feigned retreat/rout that AI cavalry can deploy during combat. This would serve as a decoy to lure the player's unit into giving a chase. This can result into an ambush or the AI cavalry units turning around and fighting the outnumbered chasing units. This would add another strategic element to the battles. Running the cavalry very far from the main army could cause devastation and catastrophe against cavalry based armies like Numidia, Bactria, and Parthia. I am not sure if it is possible or the AI can handle performing this but I thought to throw the idea out there for the developers.

Re: Suggestion
Thank you!
Unfortunately I will have to disappoint, as modding the AI's battle behaviour cannot be done directly. Instead, with the right combat balance adjustments, one can hope to achieve small improvements to the AI's use of tactics. While something I'd also love to see, complex tactical manouvers will probably remain out of reach for Attila's AI. All I can suggest is to play the game on very hard difficulty
