Benchmark aborted by user

Hi,

I am getting this problem in my computer:

Alienware 17 R3
CPU i7-6700HQ 2.60GHz - 3.50 GHz
16GB DDR4 RAM
Windows 10 Home 64 bits
Nvidia GTX 970M 3 GB DDR5
Nvidia drivers 398.11 (latest)

Do you know how to solve it? Thank you.

Can you elaborate more? What do you mean? While benchmarking, does it crash the game?

In loading Screen of Benchmark DX11 Graphics High 1080p, DX11 Graphics Balanced 720p, DX9 Graphics Balanced 720p and DX9 CPU the game crash to desktop but I tried Benchmark Game Settings and works, is strange.

That's strange indeed. Maybe a runtime issue. No idea. Some things in TW are a mystery still.

Solved, I deleted some files I suspected shouldn't be there and verified game cache, now I can run all Benchmarks. Since I am here I want to ask: I ran Benchmark DX11 Graphics High 1080p and gives me 78 fps and I also ran Benchmark Game Settings that gives me just 44 fps. Why this huge difference?

Well, your settings must be different from the "high" preset. Do you run the game at a different resolution?

My settings are max. settings, everything is maxed. I play all Total War games at 1920x1080 resolution, is the max. allowed in my computer. Do you think is acceptable 44 fps on average? Should I lower some settings to boost performance? I noticed a few lag when a ship explodes in Fall of Samurai expansion if I zoom the ship.
