    Default Congratulations and petition

First of all, thank you guys, the mod is the best thing I've ever seen! Can't remember such a true improvement of the vanilla game since Total war Rome realism.

Combats are a lot better, supplies mechanics very interesting and easy to understand, buildings and units are good and seems that they're well balanced, specially the idea to represent different political status, such as foederati and amici & socii. I think that that's what vanilla TW should be: challenging, realistic and tactic.

Besides the economic UI thing that I posted in other topic, I'd like to make a petition: Absorbing client states.

    • Historically speaking, many client states were later incorporated in the main region.
    • It would be a way to expand without continuous wars, I love that from paradox games and I'd love to see it in total war.
    • Helps you get rid from badly placed client states
    • I personally hate to betray my clients, but sometimes just need the province.

You could add it some conditions, as for example, marriage, money, good opinion.

I'd like to have client states become yours when their faction leader died, but this needs to be scripted.
Vespasian's own: Up the Augusta! For Cato!

    AE: Battle Balancing and BAI.

I hear that word often (script). Does it mean that it's very hard to implement?

What about "join the confederation mechanics" could it be used to easily implement a way to allow players to assimilate client states? It seems interesting: you "bribe" their leaders and seize the territories.

Scripts are pieces of code. Unlike 'regular' modding which is essentially nothing more than replacing tekst and textures you can actually add new features by adding additional code.
