I know that Lordsith is doing some great work!
Well we already have some amazing models made by wangrin a long time ago which only need some textures. Anyway, our goal is to finish the late campaign first and then we will focus on the early campaign and things will be decided then.
Don't forget to vote for the 2018 Modding Awards!
Will there be units for the Napoleonic timeline especially for the United States, England, France, Prussia, Spain, Russia, Austria and other countries?
Might I make a suggestion for a name change for the Early-Mid 18th Century period of the mod? Any time I look for the mod through Google, it seems to confuse RoTR with the normal version of the mod., so to help differentiate them, I suggest the early period of the mod should be called Imperial Splendour: Ancien Régime, highlighting the societal splits that were appearing after the American Revolution (and mimics the political theme of RoTR at the same time)
Also I would like to see when it is all completed, of course, that both RoTR and the early campaign mod Are combined into a single install and a launcher much like that used in Darthmod to select the period you want to play would be awesome. Having to install two different versions of the one mod would be a pain
Yes this is the plan for the future But TSanada's time right now is limited so the launcher currently stays as it is right now.
I uploaded a new model to sketchfab for you to explore: It's the officers hat of the Hanoverian 14th light infantry regiment.
Click on the link below to have a look on the model:

And I uploaded a new building model you can build in the next release: The Brunswick Palace.
Check out the model on Sketchfab, I made some annotations to explain some history facts there:

Will you be doing special buildings for the other parts of Germany to give access to special troops from the many principalities?
For example, Breisgau Vineyards getting a special building to gain access to troops from Baden? Or changing the name of Hessen-Kassel to Rhineland or back to Westphalia and giving Cassel a special building so it can recruit Hesse-Kassel troops, ,give Münster, Cleves and Frankfurt their own units too?
Another example would be Prussia getting Mecklenburg units and Sweden getting Finnish units. There are probably many other places that could get this treatment, but these are the ones I think could do with the most variation now.
RotR: Rise of the Republic, this mod fix the ottoman bug?
Hi guys,
i,m currently playing a RotR campaign as Britain. My focus is a war against the usa (like american war of independence). In wich db tables do i change the ai behavior to be more aggressiv and to recruit more units. Because the usa-ai is so damn passive and always stay in philidelphia.
The table you seek is called: campaign_ai_personality_junctions
Unfortunately, while it does differentiate for research, it does not differentiate for what you are looking for. Within the table tere is a line that provide for differentiation between different cultures, but it is a simple number.
There is also the campaign_ai_manager_behavior_junctions
Here, it does differentiate between "FULL" and "MAINTENANCE." The US as an "emergent" faction (and vanilla) would be listed as the latter. If you want to change it, you have to change the starpos file.
Hey guys, I've long been a fan of playing TW mods in every installment and I think I clocked over 1000 hrs in Darthmod for ETW. Imperial Splendour is adding an extra layer of difficulty that I really like. Because of my bias towards playing from Early right through to Late (I love the feeling of growing an Empire from nothing - and potentially out teching others) I'm weeping over the diversion into RTR lol. I do question in a nutshell, what's the key difference from RTR over regular IS (which is still obviously a little rough polishwise)? Is it simply a period thing? Aka Early vs Late?
Also I try to NEVER be that guy but I find that setting the most basic ballparks keeps your fans off your back when it comes to release info - but for 3.0 do you think it'll be months? Years? Even the roughest potential goal makes things easier for us fans. I'm completely ok with whatever it is, it just makes it easier for me to hunker down (like it did with DeI's development) if there's a rough time frame to help keep the dream alive. But I think TW forums have by now established a fairly good culture of not pressuring you guys too hard to meet any kind of deadlines - we know that modding is hard and subject to so many things working at once! To hold a volunteer artist accountable to create a free product by any deadline is simply entitled at that point...
But as a veteran of TW games (Empire getting my most playtime) and mods I can safely say you guys have a good mod here with good fundamentals that shift the difficulty for people who have played Darthmod and 'ho hum' at its easiness despite its awesome cinematic type battles. But yeah, 2.2.1b's stability is its only noticeable drawback in addition to Britain's 'missing strings' in diplomacy but I know that'll improve with some love.
It would be nice if there were togglable features like Forts on/off, Trade ship limit on/off. I found the constant battle for trade dominance was actually a nice side chapter that created an appeal to invest in Navy, even for European land focused Factions which got killed off in IS due to Tradable ship caps (but I get it was for economy balance).
I did find the troop stats jarring particularly for Prussia (my fav faction). I understand the quality of their Line Inf and array of Elite Inf was a little lacking in addition to having worse accuracy compared to Brits given historically the Prussian Army were seen as some of the finest, most disciplined and drilled infantry of the time - I understand many nations used Prussian expats as specialist companies due to their skill? Regardless of my personal take, I love that you guys have really tried to give each faction a flavour that plays differently. (I notice the Swedes are melee juggernauts).
I have seen some people post some pretty blunt posts occasionally - credit to you guys, you sound remarkably patient and professional in response.
Hi, you ever thought about add occupation options like loot, peace occupation, libations, like in napoleon TW, is definitely possible, I played long time ago in VDM or VMD i cant remember that but was possible to do it
Do you guys plan to add the Pirates and NA Indians as playable factions? Cause this would be awesome....
