When I click on the ? icon in the diplomacy scroll, the game suddenly crashes.

I don't know why this happens.

Maybe you should look into this problem, Quintus.

Error log? Does it happen every time?

How long had you been playing? Could it have been a memory leak?

What version are you playing? Did you completely remove any previous version?

    This shouldn't be happening:

    Code: [View]
    06:33:24.997 [system.io] [info] exists: missing mods/ebii/data/scripts\show_me\Force_Diplomacy.txt
    06:33:24.997 [system.io] [trace] file open,,0AB86518,,not found
    06:33:24.997 [system.io] [trace] pack open,packs/localized.pack,data/scripts\show_me\Force_Diplomacy.txt,,not found
    06:33:24.997 [system.io] [trace] pack open,packs/data_1.pack,data/scripts\show_me\Force_Diplomacy.txt,,not found
    06:33:24.997 [system.io] [warning] open: data/scripts\show_me\Force_Diplomacy.txt is missing
06:33:24.997 [game.script] [error] Script parsing error at line 400, column 16 in mods/ebii/data/export_descr_advice.txt
Couldn't open the script file scripts\show_me\Force_Diplomacy.txt
All secondary scripts were removed, Force Diplomacy exists only in the campaign_script now. That looks like you've got an old version of the export_descr_advice lurking around.

    I'm playing in version 2.3,

    If that's the case,

maybe I should reinstall the mod?

I don't know what to suggest. It's looking for a file that doesn't exist, that it shouldn't be looking for.

Could you post the contents of your export_descr_advice (on line 400)?

It doesn't matter right now, I reinstalled the mod and it works now.

The cause of the problem is that I launched the game with the Kingdoms.exe instead of the Medieval 2.exe.

I'm playing the steam version btw.
