    Have you heard of the Mithridatic Wars? Mithridates rallied over 100,000 men and massacred 3 Roman legions and almost took over the area of Asia known today as Turkey. He was a remarkable general and made Pontic relevant in ancient history. After rounding up and killing most Italians in Asia, Mithridates campaigned into Greece but met his match meeting Sulla.
