    Default [Preview] Update 1.01h

    Hi All. Thank you for the support and efforts to help with the mod. In our next patch we will have a slew of updates and bug fixes. Please continue to post on the bug reports forum. Although, unable to repsond to all, no reports are going un-noticed.

    Here is a list of some of the updates you can expect in the next couple days.
    - Rebalanced/revamped economy (more details later)
    - battlemap fixes
    - updated unit cards
    - seige fixes - includes battlemap cultural switch fixes. for example, if rome takes over a barbarian settlement, through a few turns of conversion, it will convert to a roman settlement.
    - objective and victory condition updates
    - model and vmd fixes
    - Wife influence bug fix

    We would also like to thank Causeless for his hard work in figuring out how to import sound files into Attila - hes been instrumental to the effort, and is the only one out there with the capability of doing such. With that we are happy to announce Rome 1 music will now be available in the mod. This opens up so many possibilities to make the mod feel more like Rome 1 and the antiquity era. Due to copyright issues, we will only be using work that is open source and/or made by CA.

    The music mod is in the begining stages, but you should be able to view and hear a preview of it in Jackie Fish's and Darren's Stream that will be coming up. We will post a link to their twitch channels when they do.

    Was glad to be of help! I'd like to say that the rest of the team has done a fantastic job in helping me here and in bringing music modding from a proof-of-concept to reality, so I've got to give a lot of thanks to Sheridan and UMC here.

    will it have fixed the bug of no units recruiment issue?, in areas out from italy for roman empire, thanks for all guys i cant stop playing this wonderful mod

    yes we are going to working on that, along with an explanation of why there is no recruitment to avoid confusion

    Will the wifes not getting any influence be fixed soon also? Right now they are pretty much useless and only worth it if you're marrying them away to a foreign faction.

    Could you change the main menu screen with that of Rome 1?

    I would prefer to see roman soldiers walking than hunnic cavalry

    Should be theoretically possible, but a bit of work. Nobody has replaced video files for Attila/Rome2 though so it's relying on some testing I did working. Also - you shouldn't see hunnic cavalry? We've changed the main menu to be a static image.

    Congratulations to Causeless, I was waiting for the modification of Attila's musics for a long time now, can't wait to hear antiquity's song while playing AE !
    Hope someone is going to make a submod with cool music, I like Rome 1's ones, but to me they fit more to Rome 1. AE is another game, another way to play total war, another experience, so I think it needs another soundtrack, it's own one ! (Well, I don't want the devs team to learn how to play Buccina or Hydraulis to have exclusive songs in game, but you know, some musics that aren't associated with an other game or not realy known could be good, this way you would listen to them while playing and proudly say to yourself: "That's ancient empires music")

    Any chance in the near future to get AE as a non English version ? (I know it is still a BETA version)

    Because we have lots of text and description missing, even the faction names are missing in the non-English version. (I wonna avoid to change steam to English because it is effecting all other steam games too)
