    Guidelines to Movement of Armies

    - Each hex has a different time value due to the presence of various terrain.
--> Moving through any hex (outside of Wales and Ireland) is 20 mins
--> Moving through Wales is 40 mins per province
--> Moving through Ireland is 30 mins per province
--> Armies consisting solely of cavalry travel 25% faster.

    - After a battle or raid, the victorious army must remain stationary for 6 RL hours.
    - After a battle or raid, a retreating army returns to the nearest friendly keep or back to where they marched from. They cannot move for 6 RL hours afterwards.

    Post in this thread detailing:
    - A rough outline of your route plan (eg moving from London to York)
    - The troops you are moving
    - The time it will take in total
    - The rough arrival time

Gerbod the Fleming and his retinue return from a short stay on the mainland. They remain at London for now. (Not actual movement, simply stating where I'm at right now considering I've been away)

The combined Norman host makes for Shropshire North of Hereford and begins looking for a favorable place to confront the Saxons. Outriders are to screen the army to make sure the Saxons do not catch them unawares while on the march. Time 12 province 20 minutes each so 240 minutes. Due to the screen and the time searching for favorable terrain I'm going to bump this to 300 minutes or 5 hours.
