Hi,
In my opinion this happens way too often, you receive entire region by just sending away a politic with a meager sum of money... Just wondering, where is the triggers for this, I sure would like to manipulate this system

I agree. It's a very useful feature but faulty implemented.
Again, I'm no expert, but perhaps a schema update would do the trick and open these tables:
"political_actions_incident_junctions"
"political_actions_mission_junctions" .. maybe they have the code to alter this?
Well, anyways I do not have the skills to do that so have to wait for someone smarter to do that
Maybe this is helpful https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfil...?id=1397295936
EDIT: sorry, wrong thread
omg, this mod is really promising
WOW that mod is awesome looking. DEI please do something similar. I love a lot of the new positive effects from that like the weapons and such.
THAT would be an AMAZING way to customize that feature and make it a game in itself. Dont be cheap about it. You all can do some REAL amazing things with that.
Yeah I like the idea too, although I think we may wait to see what CA does with the next patch. Its possible they may make more of the diplomatic part moddable rather than hardcoded (the % chances, the region trading, etc)
Wow! This looks very promising indeed. I definitely download this and maybe fork it a little to learn how this system works
Thank you boblikesoup, this was very nice from you to share
I agree that does look promising. I very rarely use the Political/Diplomatic missions because of the random region giving function(i just don't like it), but if somehow that particular option could be deleted or modified in any way, then i would be tempted to use it again, especially if more diplomatic outcomes were available.
Yeah that settlement gifting just feels like a cheat. I remember 1st campaign with arabs.. I shed blood sweat and tears to get that iron source from Ptolemy ( they had no supplyships and armies and reinforcements kept starwing on route to Ethiopia ). Restarted the campaign with new version.. Ptolemy gifted their only iron source to me! Few turns later he decided to add the grainfarms of Egypt to that aswell..
