    Hello,
    first of all congrats on your new AE Version. I started playing my Campaign as Rome after the new version was released and has been working quite well for me so keep up the good work!

    However I am currently at turn 82 and i am getting a CTD after all factions are finished.

    After some experimenting I found out that finishing the Public Monuments Tier 2 Building in Rome is causing this Crash. After canceling the crash was gone.

    Playing the campaign I experienced that the following things are not working correctly (Dont know how much of it has been reported yet)

    Character-Skills

    • Agricultural Expert
      • Income % is not added to region wealth

    • Great Administrator
      • +Tax-rate is not added to region-taxrate
      • Public Order Penalty seem to work fine

    • Public Representative
      • Culture happines bonus works fine
      • -3% administrative costs are not subtracted from region administrative costs


    Buildings:

    • Main Region Building (Please correct me if I am wrong here but i would have expected it to work like this)


    Region wealth and Maintanance costs should be reduced by the factor that is listed at the government building (for example -20%)

    1. Region wealth modifiers are reduced by -20% (seems to work correct)
    2. Building Upkeep should be recuded by -20% (doesnt work)


    • Public Monuments (Rome)
      • Tier 1: + 2 Public to adjacent Regions doesnt seem to work
      • Building Tier 2 causes CTD

    • Concecrated Ground:
      • Building Shrine of Minerva (Tier 2) gives no Culture influence to region. (Later Tiers seem to work correct)

    • Administration Chain:
      • -% administrative costs doesnt seem to work at all



    The campaign experience overall is amazing so very nice job!

    Just a small request: Would it be a lot of work to display a breakdown of all modifiers when you mouse-over the public order categories? (Similar to the religion mouse-over breakdown)

    If needed I can provide you with my save-game file before the CTD happens!

    Hello, since I cannot edit my previous post I have to write a new one.
    The CTD after building the Public Monuments Tier 2 Building in Rome was either fixed or something else was causing my endturn crash. (It is now gone)

    After playing about 234 turns without real troubles I extended my list of things that are not correctly working in my opinion:
    Character Skils:
    • Agricultural Expert
      • Income % is not added to region wealth

    • Great Administrator
      • +Tax-rate is not added to region-taxrate
      • Public Order Penalty seem to work fine

    • Public Representative

    • Roads
      • Road Icons should have chronological order similar to Rome I and then the new AE Icons

    • Moneyer
      • Building Tier 4 is not possible although Tier 5 state-mainbuilding is present
      • Icons of Tier 2 and 3 are wrong (should be switched)

    • Industrial Workshop:
      • Icons of Tier 1 and 2 are wrong (should be switched)



    Untis:
    • Upgrading Legio IV Macedonica (Augustian) to Legio IV Macedonica (Imperial) doesnt work


    Balancing suggestions:
    • Senatorial Legion Event: Army has no upkeep cost for the entire campaign (Should be limited similar to the last roman dlc i think)
    • Administration Buildings: There is no real point in building anything else than the court-chain
      • other administration buildings are no real option

    • Aqueducts: +Fertility bonus in agricultural aqueduct is too strong
      • My suggestion: give a fertility bonus to all chains
        • Each individual chain should have a different bonus to region wealth (industry, commerce or whatever)

    Playing campaign as rome and just researched "socii cohorts". The unit upgrade works fine but I can not recruit any of those new socii units. I found the ai_italy_socii and ai_italy_socii_latin unit ressources missing for the italian regions. After adding those to the startpos the recruitment works fine. I hope this might help you and keep up the good work!

    Uhm Taras for the Roman AI faction has no garrison... I hope that's not the case for other Roman settlements.

    Hey there! I hope this is the correct thread to post bugs I encountered during my play in AE.
    AE Version: 1.2.2
    Attila TW version: last official (1.6 I guess + DLCs)

    1. Auxilary barracks dismantle issue
    Magna Grecia -> Rhegion
    After dismantling Auxilary barracks lvl 2 (if it is important, located at the 3rd slot) I've received Regular Barracks lvl 1. In any other cases (provinces) it worked correct so I received Auxilary lvl 1 ones. Mystery.

    2. Adoption of last non-party statesman/general/governor is not possible, though action can be taken, points spent without any warnings.

    3. I've started as Res Publican Rome to test the focus faction. Well, maybe its just vanilla thing with rly bad AI but factions invite another ones to "join war agianst you", though you can easily offer new-joined enemy a peacy treaty next turn.

    4. Phazania province reached -100 "rebellion imminent" state several times but no rebels spawned next turn at all.

    5. After capturing Meroe defeated last Regnum Nubiae army. Haven't had enough action points to deal with it the same turn.
    Next turn it magically turned into Councilium Nubiensis faction army while Regnum Nubiae faction icon itself teleported to the edge of the map. Pic included:

    8. Obtaining a lot of resources lead to trade agreements become imbalanced. You can easily force factions you've encountered with a spy for the first time at another part of the map to become your puppet states, or former enemies to leave hostile alliances.
    I guess its vanilla diplomacy issue, maybe you can't do nothing about it.

    9. Check 190-185 BC historical notes, there is one dublicate and one with text markup broken.

    PS Thx for the mod. Visually its awesome but unfortunately vanilla AI can't be fixed to act adequately. For Rome its pretty easy to play but AI is really stupid.

    One more, not sure if this is a bug or not, but Misthophoroi Thorakitai of Macedon has an insanely high armor stat (higher than most armored units), yet their armor is just cloth (and some exposed chests)

    Looks like more than just the legatus legiones has this issue; one of the iberian tribe's cavalry has it as well. I only discovered this after a battle in the campaign (was absolutely amazing, I been immersed in a battle for a long time). Several other units probably have this issue as well. I've actually reported on this same bug for Divide Et Impera on their forums back when I was giving Rome 2 a try. Multiple cavalry units had the exact same floating issue, but they seem to have fixed it in the lastest update.

    Am in a Seleucid Campaign when the Ptolemies attacked Antioch with a naval invasion. They landed and marched to the west city gate fine, but when they sent a unit ahead to break the gate they would kind of just shuffle, moving a few steps then stopping. Several units also seemed to warp under the map and into the city, showing on the mini map and their icons. Love the mod, keep up great work.

    Started a game as Cimbri, after a couple turns of starving I figured out that the fishing ports don't seem to give food.

    Hello I am new to Ancient Empires. Installed the mod on a vanilla Attila installation (no other mods) and started a campaign with Achaean League. Every time I right click on the portrait of a possible spy recruit (recruit agent/ spy) I get a Crash to desktop.

    I posted on steam, jusat to let you know, some helmets have a texture bug where they look black, like soot, I see missing signifier standards, missing helmets, and bodies, crashing when clicking on Governor, to kick from ofice.

    First let me say Thanks for this great mod, I like it very much. I made my first games with the Romans and the Icenis, impressive what you already have achieved. Landbattles are the BEST I've ever played. Battles are feeling more organic, great job!

    Sieges:
    - I wondered why Barbarians need siege equipment to attack Barbarian villages that have no walls at all. Makes no sense to me.
    - In sieges of Barbarian walled villages I've witnessed that the defense towers sometimes destroy close towers with firearrows, shooting at enemies that are covered by the other tower.
    - In sieges of big walled cities the siege defense weapons seem most often not to work at all, even when they have a free field of fire towards the enemy. The siege defense weapons are generally useless.
    - In a defense battle in Hadrentum the only available siege engine has no place on the walls, its "half burried" in the groundfloor of the city ans unusable.

    A bug I encountered in Italy in the province of Rom: The upgrade to "via Consularis" doesn't cost any money, its free :-)

    Seabattles:
    Interesting new concept you have introduced, but the Seabattles need more balancing, they need more love. I witnessed several times that ships are standing on their bows in the water, after getting rammed, sometimes even moving aroud their long axis wildly. The physics are broken and the ships are often overreacting to ramming forces.

    It would be great if the "Softcore submod" would be updated quickly by its modder (I'm not a friend of masochistic gameplay, life is hard enough already). It worked until I reached Imperium level, then it produced a CTD in the turn the new level is reached. Deactivating "Softcore" solves the problem, so I'm certain its the culprit. Activating "Softcore" a turn after the event took place made it function again.

    Hello AE Team!

    First of all, thank you for all the hard work making this amazing mod even possible!

    I have ran into a CTD issue which I can't seem to resolve on my own... I've tried everything, from cleaning the data folder, verifying my game data to a complete uninstall and reinstall of the game.

    The CTD I can't get past is after a defensive battle fought against Macedon. This battle occurs during the end turn and is forced upon me. When I win the battle, and the turn completes, I am prompted with turn event messages which I can successfully click away, however, after the "historical events message" of 189 BC, the game continuously crashes to desktop.

    I went ahead and attached my quick save file as well. ( I had to split it into 3 parts due to file size restriction )

    I hope you can help me out as I really want to continue my Rome campaign.

    EDIT: I managed to work around this CTD by loading the auto save just before the end turn.

    Still, maybe the save files and the info provided above could help to figure out what initially caused the CTD and might help prevent this from happening again in the future.
