TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material

I always dreamed of a mod with such beautyful XVI century units. Besides, those cities are incredible. Some years ago I tried to do something like that, but I didn't succed. I will follow your work with great interest.
Huic ab adulescentia bella intestina, caedes, rapinae, discordia civilis grata fuerunt ibique iuventutem suam exercuit
I would like to add that it's always a pleasure when a foreigner like you put so much effort and love to study and honor the History of my Nation. I higly respect that

Neither is this the dawn from the east, nor is a dragon flying above, nor are the gables of this hall aflame. Nay, mortal enemies approach in ready armour. Ravens are calling, wolves are howling, spear clashes and shield answers
A moment of pause for the Austrian Militia Glaivemen - have a look on the 3d rendition on Sketchfab!
Medieval 2 Total War - Machiavello mod | Model for Austrian Pavise Spearmen for the Archduchy of Austria. The soldiers are armed with sallets of German design, with fixed frontal opening. Glaive, voulges and other pole weapons were of common use in German militia units, as in the nearby Switzerland. The model is mainly a combination of work made by the mod team and some OSP pack developed for Mount & Blade Warband.

A new model is ready - Austrian Handgunners!
Medieval 2 Total War - Machiavello mod | Model for Austrian Handgunners for the for the Archduchy of Austria. The soldiers are armed with sallets of German design, with fixed frontal opening, or with typical Eisenhut kettle-hat with eye slots. Early hand-cannons were fairly widespread in German and Austrian lands, known as Handrohr, Handbüchse or Stangenbüchse or by other variant names. The model is mainly a combination of work made by the mod team and some OSP pack developed for Mount & Blade Warband.

Is this disk on the gauntlet really practical for firing a gun? It looks rather odd.

True... And he doesn't even have a melee weapon next to him.
Maybe they were used to cook individual-size omelets during hot summer battles - who knows?
it seems it was weared too protect the hands,as they need them to fire the guns
That sounds logical to me.
Great Austrians Mylae !!

I think he is asking about the Russian mod the Italian Wars. Which is currently in Russian but i hope will get translated into english. I think it is easier to build a mod in english from the start to get a wider public. There are a lot of very very good Russian language mods which are not accessible to us due to language barrier.
