    Does this preview count as "yes?"

    Sketchfab 3d preview here: https://sketchfab.com/models/42e903b...1b90a86f155571

    Medieval 2 Total War - Machiavello mod | Model for an Italian Hand Culverine with two piece servants. A hand culverine is a XV century artillery piece made of a short smoothbore tube, usually of iron, held in place by on a wooden piece with brass bands. Portable culverins weighted around 40 kg (88 lb) in weight, and were mounted on a swivel to adjust for elevation and direction or fixed on walls in defensive stance. The term “culverin” is derived from the Latin colubrinus, or “snake-like”, in reference of the erratic path of the projectiles. The model is mainly a combination of work made by the mod team and some OSP pack developed for Mount & Blade Warband.

    In-game (i know that the animations are not the best one, but they do not feel so bad either...):

    That is badass. I am guessing this is an additional artilery piece and it does not replace a vanilla one. Is it unique for italians?

    1- yes and not: it is built on the balista skeleton (to allow for moving up and down of the coluvrine fust on the tripod) and it does not replace any vanilla piece;
    2- no, similar coluvrines were quite common in Italy (colubrina), France (coleuvrine), Germany (stangenbuchse), Bohemia (tarasnice) and Hungary (szakállas puskak), and they will have their coluvrine with piece servants too. were popular until mid-XVI century. Later on, they become much larger and longer, with standards of caliber and width. Ottoman had their own version - the famous abus gun, with similar functionality although it was properly an early howitzer.

    This kind of weapon, as you may see, has an intermediate role: it could be easily deployed in a battlefield, it could be used in the defense of battlements (extant coluvrines are usually found amongst weapon collections in this role), and has an extra punch and range in respect to smaller hand-cannons, while not being extremely cumbersome.
    In comparison to modern armies, you may think of it as a tactical precursor of field mortars or heavy MG: artillery pieces that are light enough to be carried on the battle by a small team, and easily re-deployable elsewhere without involving transport by other means.

    Check your models arms to shoulder vertices merging. Nottice that gap ? Merge those vertices and assign them to proper bone.
    TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
    Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

    IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
    Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

    Another little preview - completing the german/Austrian roster and mounted a diorama-like model for the Pavise Spearmen. do you like it?

    Austrian Pavise Spearman on Sketchfab

    Medieval 2 Total War - Machiavello mod | Model for Austrian Pavise Spearmen for the Archduchy of Austria. The soldiers are armed with sallets of German design, like the one on the ground near the pavises, with fixed frontal opening, or with typical Eisenhut kettle-hat with eye slots. Breast protection with half-cuirasses show also a typical squared Kasten-brust armour. Pavise shields are depicted in patterns resembling those found in the arsenal of Klausen, with the Austrian Bindenshchild. The model is mainly a combination of work made by the mod team and some OSP pack developed for Mount & Blade Warband.

    Guys,

    to raise support and attention to this mod I have just created a FB page - it will showcase previews and host articles and digression on XV century history. As this is a community-driven project, the more people like the mod, the more inclined to work the team will be.
    That said, if you like our work, please give us a thumbs up here and tell your friends!

    another small diorama-like preview: Austrian Militia Archers!

    Medieval 2 Total War - Machiavello mod | Model for Austrian Militia Archer for the Archduchy of Austria. The soldiers are dressed in waistcoat and hoses, with plumed hats, practicing in a bow range. Although archers were in decline and crossbows were preferred, archer militias were raised in the countryside for watch and sentry duties, most often as corvées to local landlords. The model is mainly a combination of work made by the mod team and some OSP pack developed for Mount & Blade Warband.

    and another good news: our ModDB page is now online with articles!

    Very cool. Is that a club on the left guy? And aren't they a bit overdressed for a rural militia? To me, they look more like mercenaries.

    1 - no, is a bunch of arrows;
    2 - those are generic dresses, in fact; but they should not look like the average peasant, however.

    I wonder what game are you actually playing, as the mod is not publicly released.

    Anyway.

    Another preview - Austrian Militia Pikemen.

    Medieval 2 Total War - Machiavello mod | Model for Austrian Militia Pikeman for the Archduchy of Austria.
    The soldiers are dressed in waistcoat and hoses, with plumed hats, marching with their pikes resting on the shoulder. Pike militias were quite common in the Alpine range during all the XV century - the most famous of them being the
    Swiss pikemen.
    The model is mainly a combination of work made by the mod team and some OSP pack developed for Mount & Blade Warband.
