Its not always a matter of clipping but easthetic and accuracy ones.
TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

Excellent. I wonder how great will be diversity of equiplement within one specific unit.

And question while im talking about this. Will that armored mount that u showed, have some other variations? Or it will be only that one? I was asking, to be more precise, will it have version with mail on neck, for example.

Oh, sure. Usually there will be 4-5 different armours, sometime with a giornea on; other pieces of equipment will fit as variations, such as helmets, plumes, and miscellaneous items. Possibly, later on, I will made another preview for mounted units.

Awesome work Mylae! I am so happy to see that the city models made by Tsardoms are used in your mod and you even used the materials to create more cities. Just fantastic, looking forward to see more stuff.

    Hey Mylae,

If it isn't too much to ask, could you give us an update of where the project is now? In the OP from you, you estimated that it was 75% finished. Where would you say it stands now?

Yes, we will only have Marka Horses on our mod, and some custom-built horse model.
Ottoman Kapikulu will have their unique armoured horses too.

Mylae absolutly an incredible work, is thanks to modder like you if medieval 2 total war continues to live, if i can, i'd like to advise you and your team to make also the armour that protect the neck of the horse, expecially the horse's mane, obviously if you can, because you have to create a New model for that part of the armour, during the battles the ears and the neck of the horse were the points most exposed to the blows of the enemies, I'm italian and i know very well this period of the history of my country so for me would be an honor to help you and the team if you need i can create some textures for horses and other troops,I'm experienced in creating textures but not models LOL , for the rest is a great project absolutly a great gift for all medieval lovers

well, I guess about 80%? A lots of things needs to be polished.
I had not worked on the mod during August for two main reason - I was on vacation, and I was working when not in vacation. Also, I had some problems with new pc as there are crashes that occurs due to graphic issues - which seems odd, as older pc with lower specs seems to handle map models with ease.

We are currently reshaping all units and all armies, creating unique models and textures. when done, they will be inserted in the mod and its scripts, which are currently growing up. There are embrions of a provincial campaign and a sort of "tutorial campaign" along the main campaign, that could appear in a post-release.

Thanks Mylae! Appreciate the update. Let me know if you need any help. Also, given the mods quality and the fact that it's nearing completion, shouldn't it be a hosted mod? I'm not sure how that works though. Just a thought.

Mylae, do you think those high quality units will make problems for medieval 2 engine? Will fps drop, can it handle it at large unit sizes, 20 units vs 20 units?

in my pc there is no slowing down on a 20vs20 battle; however, on older pc it may require some memory.

    A little update:
Unfortunately, there is some issue with the new campaign models of the mod. Older pc seems to run smoothly the campaign map, but new ones seems unable to load a campaign game, or there are crashes after few time under "graphic settings too high".
Updating video drivers seems not to solve this problem.
Removing the new models solved this.
The issue may be related on 3d rendering issues or on the way .cas models are converted or processed by the 3d software. If someone has experienced similar problems in other mods and may offer a solution is welcomed.

Development will resume now, focusing mainly on scripting and refurbishing some unit. I will try to update regularly the progress, maybe once in a week.

Indeed! Please, if anybody has experience finding solutions with a 'fatal' CTD error from the campaign map stemming from the graphics setting may be too high for M2TW to handle; let us know. We'd really like to use the great city models from Tsardoms in the actual release. I'll try to post a screen of this later this evening.

Edit: Error message looks like this

Some of us in Tsardoms have also same issue also usualy on newer PCs

Could it be because of windows 10 or simply too many polygons in models? I have no idea really

Interestingly I have no issue with EBII which also has tons of custom models on campaign map so I'm inclined to believe that it must be caused by high poly models
