What tool you used to convert horse models retaining their skeleton? i use the M2TWMT 0.6B, but that does not rebuild the skeletons (or it does?)
To create previews I usually reconvert the models using the Mesh to M3sd converter, which only has a default human skeleton and does not recognize the existence of horse skeletons. Should I use the GOAT?
I use milkshape and GOAT 1.1 , READ MY TUTORIAL not only to make unique horse model , but when that "mount_x_lod0" is created it will have horse's skeleton. Then you can save it as milkshape model to create renders and scenes.
    Example:
You have mailed_knight.lod0 ms3d that has its own human skeleton.
You take a marka or vanilla horse mesh and you convert it to milkshape model following my tutorial. Lets name the horse mount_fast_pony.lod0 ms3d
You open the mailed_knight.lod0 ms3d model with milkshape, then you press the button MERGE and then you select the mount_fast_pony.lod0 ms3d . In that point if you look the joints list you will find all bones both the human and the horse ones...
Select the human pelvis bone and press move , move you knight above the horse back. With the next bones and orders "move", "rotate" etc you can make the rider's pose.
Make the same with the horse bones ....CAUTION Horse has also bone_pelvis. When you have done select bone pelvis to rotate 1st the horse and the the rider to have a pose like this.

Or like this that can be usefull for creating UI cards.

Just REMEMBER NOT to save the model when you have done your job!!! You will lose both the human and the horse model! Just take the screenshot, press exit, select NO when the milkshape will ask you if you want to save it and you can proceed to next render.
With GOAT 1.1 and Milkshape you can create UI cards relativly easy. Read here.

TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

Bravo! Horses can have more complicated stances but need more practise. If you have Banzai's animation pack you can use his skelmerge. files to create models to make poses for archers.! Great work. Glad that i helped a bit.
EDIT" Question: Did Francesko used Paleologos' archery/arrows animations?

By merging in Photoshop many renders yoy can make a Faction preview/announcement diorama.
This was one of my 1st attempts.

We are discussing the eventual presence of full of half-caparisoned horses for generals and high-profile condottieri.

possibly I will find a way to extract horse skeletons and animate 3d models when they will be definitive, so you can look at them. Anyway, contemporary sources shows armours that were not so small.
I am very interested about how mounts will be done. I they are 'half' unit basicly, thats why im giving them so much attention.

This is an example of our current heavy mount model (french gendarmes). Our team member Pietro was reworking them, though.

Horsehair shows that quality of textures is not that good. Maybe move to 2048x2048 textures and it can fix problem? I dont doubt model will be great when finished, just textures worries me a bit as they can be a problem

Sorry for the recent inactivity - there has been personal issues to solve.
I am in the process of changing work and relocating, so I had little time to dedicate to modding.

anyway, here is a sneak peek of @Cesco's work on Italian homini d'arme

Hi Antonius - unfortunately my new work is taking a lot of free time, so I was not able to do much - and also Francesco has something to do.

I think however that an early (very early!) beta could be available for release during Christmas. It will have just some basic things, an incomplete roster of units and a less-developed building/script system, but players may report bugs and errors, and I think it will keep the mod lively.
