My avatar? It's a piece of artwork from the original Guild Wars
Ah I see! Thank you. Thought it looked familiar.

Yes, I agree to have a centralized thread to speak about games. Instead of opening a new topic I would like to ask:
Could you please recommend me a good ancient city building game? I have seen lots of interesting titles: Imperium Romanum Gold, CivCity: Rome, Caesar IV, Grand Ages: Rome, Children of the Nile, Dawn of Man. However, I didn't play any of those and I would like to read your opinion, even if you know about other games, I would be happy to know about them.
I would like some extent in historical accuracy and nice to have: good graphics (not essential).
Thank you in advance.
There is an old game called Pharaoh that I used to play frequently. It's an old early 2000s city builder set in ancient egypt. Available on steam for like 10$ or something.

Okay, I'll give this a little necromantic treatment with another "recommend me a game".
RPG, with good combat system. Needs to run smoothly on laptop that can just about run Witcher 3 on low settings.
Excluded:
Elder Scrolls series
Witcher series
Mount and Blade/Warband/BL
Gothic series
Fallout series
Quest for Glory series
Diablo series/Path of Exile/Torchlight
Baldur's Gate series
Deus Ex series
System Shock series
Might and Magic series
Mass Effect series
SW:KOTOR/KOTOR2
Jedi Knight series
Dark Souls
Final Fantasy or any asian style RPG...the visuals just feel off to me.
Monster Hunter World, LOTRO, Divinity Original Sin, Pillars of Eternity, Dishonoured, Undertale, Dragon Age, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, and Cyberpunk comes out soon. Red Dead Redemption might be fun if you have a PS4. Also check out the Telltale series, start with Wolf Among Us. Beyond Two Souls and Metro are good.
I don't have PS4 or any other console. Only my aging laptop, which pretty much removes any options released past 2012 (okay, Witcher 3 was an exception, but that game is surprisingly well optimized).
You should still be able to run dragon age.
Should also be able to run Pillars of Eternity 1 and Wasteland 2 on low settings. My old PC was unable to run witcher 2 and I still could run both, though poorly.
Also: Jade Empire, Planescape Torment, Icewind Dale, Nox, Blade of Darkness, Wizardry 8, Southpark Stick of Truth, Darkest Dungeon, Shadowrun series, Silend Storm and Jagged Alliance 2 (last two are not exactly rpgs but they rather hybrids)

Does anyone here plays MOBA games either PC or mobile?
I used to be a fan of vainglory. Couldn’t pick it up easily again though.

Anybody knows when is the release of Diablo mobile?
I was browsing my steam library and found King Arthur 2. Its a strategy rpg with real-time battles like Total War. I'm going to give it a spin, has anybody here played it? I don't usually go for fantasy but I guess it looked like TW so I bought it in the summer sale.
@Sar1n play Battle Brothers. Its a low fantasy tactical rpg, and it should run on your laptop. There's also Jagged Alliance 2, which has an 80s action movie theme in a tactical rpg. Both are turn based.
I played King Arthur forever ago and I just remember it making me want to play total war.

You should try Arena of Valor or League of Legends:Wild Rift
I have been playing Jagged Alliance 2 recently, but after the game pulled a totally unfair gamekilling move on me, I don't have the will to continue.
Started a few times to get the hang of the game, eventually started a game for real. Took Drassen, gradually Cambria, got my full team, and two days after I got the Cambria mine, largest one in game, to full production, a little over two weeks ingame...it started running out. Even tried to load save few days earlier, it's apparently prerolled as it happens every time.
Considering buying the Control and Alan Wake combo deal on Steam summer sale. Got interested because of Akar's entry to the Guess the Game competition, and realized that I never played Alan Wake. Would be right down my alley. It is just that I have a bunch unplayed games (notably Witcher 3 but also many others) and I had promised myself not buy any new ones.
If someone wants to put in a good word for those games to make me feel less guilty about my purchase, feel free.
