Do not be affraid to use your general bodyguars. They alone can win you many battles. Pay attention to the building browser, you can recruit various units from defferent types of buildings also some buildings are precondition for building another important buildings. That is what I just get from the top of my head. For more concrete tips, you need to ask more precisely

Chivalry is based, in general lines, about the idea you start from zero (0) then, its like as you came to the throne and meet the kingdom in bankrupt or something thus (Originally Posted by Caesar16

I just had played with christians (european) factions and always with Poland, I not know very well the muslims... but I can to say, start reinforced your economy (buildings who give you money & units... they are farms and smiths), rebels (slave) are very powerfull, then dont worries about them until you have a decent army, if they take you 1 city (they will do it
), be smart and destroy all his buildings 1 turn before they take the settlement... you will earn some money, and left the city for them (after, you can recover)...
Chivalry invite you to think before you made anything... Keep the eye at buildings, and on the units too (before the battles), at details this mod is based too... Is one of the best mods for RTW, enjoy him
