Your favourite faction in RTR 8?

Hello everyone! I hope you're already off and running with the 4.0 release of RTR 8 (or is it RTR VIII? Or RTR IIX? Questions over questions!). As you will have noticed, we have a range of factions in the mod that covers less known territory (Nabatea and Saka come to mind) as much as the major power players of the era (from Rome to the Seleucid Empire. And no, the Seleucid Empire did not start to decline continually after 280 BC). We hope that it suits everyone's flavour, and while there are many plans for many more factions for the next version, you can already enjoy a variety of 20 factions with new units, buildings, UIs and descriptions now!


So, which factions do you want to play the most? If you've already played some hours, which faction do you like the most? Which has the best units? The best starting position? Or which one is the most challenging? Share your opinion here, and then you'll eventually see what the official team thinks, too

Hi Guys,
I'm curious how do you assess the gameplay challenge for the factions in the mod. It's not always as straightforward as it seems. Eg. I recall playing RTR Platinum as Ardiaio (or Illyrians) and experiencing heavy beating from the Celts and the Romans after some easy part of the game.
Can you share your experience?
