We will be overhauling temples, adding the final units, improving the look of other units, finishing stats and some other stuff that I won’t reveal yet
We do not have a discord, the best place for the public to convene would be here on the forums, but we may add one in the future.

ahowl is on vacation charlieh but the answer to your question is probably in the next few days(a week at most), I've also notified this to players and the reason for the delay in my latest LP episode

Hello and welcome to RTR8 V4.0.2! We apologize for the longer wait again. Like we said on the forums, we really wanted to make sure that all CTD's were taken care of, and we believe we have fixed most of them!

*This is a full mod version, not just a patch. We realized the old full version was HUGE so we got rid of a ton of files that were not in use. PLEASE DELETE OLD VERSION BEFORE EXTRACTING THIS ONE. Also, this IS SAVE GAME COMPATIBLE! So keep your saves!!*
This is what we included:
- Overhauled Arab and Nabataean units by Lanjane (See Below)
- 4 Brand New units for Arab AoR by Lanjane (See Below) : Arab Slingers, Sabaean Infantry, Gerraean Infantry, Maskat Pirates
-Overhaul of Gaesatae by Lanjane (See Below)
- Many Map fixes to help prevent CTD's
- Trait and Trigger Fixes to Prevent CTD's
- Better, lighter and less buggy Environments by Robbe
- Some New Music for Celtic, Balkan, Greek and Eastern Cultures found by Lanjane
-Gallic, Germanic and Galatian City Banners on map aren't showing vanilla banners anymore.

Thank you RTR team, I appreciate the effort you have all put into this new version. A quick question. Regarding deleting the old version, is it simply the case of just deleting the RTR folder completely?

Yes. You don’t have to, but it’ll save space if you do. People were saying it was too big etc so we shrunk it in this version.

Hello and congratulations! I have a bit of a problem with launching the game. I deleted the previous file and extracted the new one, but it gives an error saying that is not executable. Any help will do thanks!

We are stumped. Does everyone get this error? If you do, just create a shortcut of the exe with -show_err -mod:RTR

I did the shortcut as well and still the same result. It says "Failed to read censored word dictinary file: data//chat_filter.san" if I try to start with the RTW:A shorcut.

What is the directory that you have your RTR folder installed in?

I have the steam version and the RTR file is under the Rome Total War Alexander file. Not sure if this is what you meant but I did follow your step by step install guide correctly to the best of my knowledge.
