Default Crusading armies not helping in crusades

Dudes, is anybody else having issues where Crusading armies from other fractions are not participating in crusades? I mean I started a crusade to take Damascus, a few turns later practically everybody had jumped on board but all I am seeing is these monster stacks of "crusading" armies wandering back and forth across Europe. Is this something that can be fixed?

EDIT: Nevermind, after a few more turns three allied crusading armies showed up to help out at Damascus.

Against whom are the "fractions" crusading? The real numbers? ;-)

Not sure what you meant exactly so this may just vbe anecdotal, but...

Playing as English, a Crusade called to Antioch - Me, HRE, France, Milan, Venice (can't remember the other factions but there were another 2-3)

Only my faction and HRE made it to Antioch - Milanese crusading army was wandering around going back and for Italy, Iberia, and southern france. The french crusading army was doing pretty much the same but on the fringes of HRE territory not really moving in the direction of antioch. Everytime I looked they were full stacks so no major desertion problems for them!

No desertion I can notice on AI crussades. They wander all over the geography and have a bad tendency of declaring war on you because they happen to walk over your lands. I mean...it should be ME who gets offended at their passing not opposite.

That has always bugged me, not just with Crusades, when another army trespasses on your land you have little option but attack and get global relationship and faction specific relationship hit or ignore it and hope they go away.

I have had desertions when I have paused too long in Gaza after taking it on the way to Jerusalem. Perhaps the AI is getting desertions but they are just rebuilding the stack with the money from the campaign script?
