Thera Redux (personal submod)

I have made a customised functional version of Thera for personal use. It keeps the basic vision of Thera intact but with much new added.

I changed so much over the years that I simply can't write it all down here so I'll list some highlights:

Tons of new and revamped units from a variety of great mods
Most melee infantry units have officers and officer guards
All factions revamped to some degree.
Better combat animations (more effective spearmen, no more awkward slow shield swing from swordsmen etc)
Better gunpowder unit animation, no double reload glitch (so more effective gun troops)
More emphasised factional strengths and weaknesses
Regional/factional specific mercenary units recruitable in small numbers in many areas
AI more likely to make armies built around their core troops
Changes to unit stats across the board (also taking battle model appearance into account for armour stats etc)
New loading pics

I must say that i was a little sceptic when i saw the op message, but it's all true, i tested all the factions, and yes, the animations are fixed, and some units are revamped and the stats are more balanced, so i must say very good work, and i would suggest to download the Redux version instead of the original one, so i think that you should make the link public, because you're doing good, thanks.
About the campaign, i started an Uruk one, so i need time to try everything

The issue with that is the original mod author made it clear they didn’t want Submods posted without his consent, and since few (no one?) can get a hold of him we are unable to get said consent.

That's a significant problem. It's one thing to reuse assets in a personal submod for private use, but quite another to reuse them for public release. Was permission received from the original mods to reuse their assets for public release? Where is the accreditation for all those assets in your post? TWC members have been permabanned and mods taken down for reusing assets without permission. I'm not comfortable with having this thread open without said documentation. Closing for now while considering deletion.
