How many more factions are there?

So its been a long time since the febuary release (maybe a year? or more? i forget what year the febuary build was). and it seems you guys are planning on doing every faction before the next release or planning on finishing the mod before then, so my question is simple? how many more factions need to be worked on? not that i am asking for a full blown release date or anything, as those are very rarely true (ancient empires for example) and things happen. but i am just curious as to how many factions need to have their rosters completed before work on the campaign itself starts

Well, campaign's has been worked on since the summer of 2017 by Zsimmortal. If you look on our 1212 discord, Zsi posts screenshots fairly frequently on there showing off the different factions in-game. Meanwhile, as for the rest of the team, most of the teammembers have been working on creating factions. ATM, I believe there are not too many factions left to work on: Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Dauphine, Savoy, Provence, Greater Poland, Brandenburg, Thuringia, Friesland, Yotvingians, Chernigov, and Ryazon-Murom from what I can see on the factions map. Otherwise, I am pretty sure most of the African factions as well as most of the Middle East factions are completed by now.

But once an update comes out for custom battles, there's going to be a buttload of new factions, revamps and so on. Maybe not all the factions remaining, but the factions that have been completed from February of last year I believe would be part of an update.
