Awesome.
But many questions remain. For example, the elephant ships, do they shoot elephants per catapult or are the elephants boarding troops? Will the unit descriptions be a mixture of all languages, original characters? You denied us the release date, like any mean game company; what is it??? Can we pre-order the mighty merchants? Will there be also a unit with hovering Indish yoga saints? Warhammer has flying units, we need them too. To name only a few.
More in earnest, the cannibal troopers look nice and cute. For what real units are the meshes/textures used?
haha you got me
Does this forum award rewards for rewriting the history?
If yes, that will be yours this time, no doubt!
Only realized it at the cannibal unit, although the winged helmet and outsourced hoplites should have clued me in. Didn't pay too much attention to the cartographic penis but that should've been a dead giveaway. I give this a 9/10; the only thing that could have improved this would be black Hannibal making an appearance.

A fascinating and informative preview, spoilt only by the shock in the introduction of payment unlocks. You can't be serious on that surely!
I guess this could explain the possible trading links between the Ancient Egyptians and South East Asia
The Archaeological Record of Indian Ocean Engagements in the Red Sea

"At the same time as the Ptolemies initiated their efforts to mobilize resources from the Red Sea, South Asian pottery appears at the South Arabian port of Sumhuram/Khor Rori. The South Arabian polities of Himyar and Hadramawt, highland-based, but with access to the coasts, over time came to prevail in the struggles for political ascendancy over inland kingdoms such as Qataban and Ma’in. A second-century bce papyrus exists recording the formation of a consortium for a commercial journey from Egypt to “the frankincense-bearing land,” and Roman-period literary sources record Ptolemaic expeditions into the Western Indian Ocean and the Arabian port of Aden as a former meeting place between Egyptian and Indian ships. Many Greek authors of the period and the Roman writers who built upon their work believed spices and gemstones of South Asian origin to come from Arabia or Africa"
What a great time to be alive...
Ritter and Augustus outperformed themselves once more. The historical units and the details of the maps are simply unearthly. Congrats and compliments to my amazing colleagues.
