    You're correct.

    Sorry about that. Auto correct is a pain on a mobile phone.

    I thought the clue in picture 1 was the laundry basket.
    Once I'd twigged that, picture 2 was fine.
    This one's not too hard hopefully.

    pft, first pic shows Sam James, player of the Rugby Union club Sale Sharks. The second a roman century of toy soldiers. If there's an expression in there, though, I have no idea what it is

    @Muizer.
    Didn't know it was Sam James, just a picture of a player from that particular team. 2nd part is correct.

    @Aexodus
    Yes it was, but I changed it as it was a model boat and that would've led you astray.

    @Halie Satanus
    Sorry. Neither are correct.

    Well it seems you have it. Once you believe Muiz has suffered enough, please do the honours. Lol.

    @Halie 'sale of the century'. Is that an expression? Never heard of it. When is it used?

    It was a quiz show, but local to where I live it used to refer disparagingly to DFS as that's how long their sale had been going on. It's generally used pejoratively to describe a big discount sale in shops.Maybe it's just a West Yorkshire thing.

    Also used the song ‘sale of the century’ by Sleeper.

    ‘You said I was cheap.
    You were the sale of the century.’

    Yeh it was more common before ‘black Friday’ and ‘Cyber Monday’ became a thing. Hype for when shops want to get rid of old tat.

    If someone wants to go feel free. I’m off to see the Beastie Boys...
