Thread: The catchphrase game

Yes, it is indeed that memorable character. A slightly slow-witted but staunchly good fighter who uses that phrase to encourage his supposedly ferocious miniature giant space hamster Boo to slay evil. Good times.

I repped both of you. I don't think anyone minds if you have an idea for a new one, Sören.

Hahahhaa. Well, I can tell you both, I was never going to get that. Not only have I not played the Baldur's Gate games (and so don't know the catchphrase at all), when Sept said he "thought of a catchphrase from an old but very well-known game", I took "old" to mean like chess, mah-jong, or tag levels of old. So I was literally centuries (if not millenia) away from Baldur's gate

Anyway, since Soren is giving me (the responsibility of) the next riddle, here's something I came up with quickly. A very notable catchphrase from a very amusing character:

I am the object of a constant barrage of your ageist jokes, but I swear I want you to keep doing it.

I think that was actually me showing my years though, and not you showing yours. After all, you said "old game" and I was the one who didn't even think of an old video game, but instead went straight to chess.

A hint to keep the ball rolling: Each picture captures one word of the catchphrase. I.e., it is a three word catchphrase, and it really is a catchphrase of this character (like, you can find shirts with it printed on it, due to its notability).

Haha, awesome. I already wrote "How you doing?" as a joke, but decided not to post, thinking it cannot be right. I had no recollection of Joey.

Ah, Sept, if you have a comical answer, always post it, regardless of your confidence in said answer! Anyway, mak has it, and the floor is hers!

Interesting. I know what the second image is, which I figure is supposed to be the tricky bit, but I cannot figure out the whole saying. I'll have to think about it for a bit.

I have been trying to solve this but cannot figure this out. It might help out if I knew who that person is.

Unless I am mistaken, it is "Cat" from Red Dwarf. So my guess is "Two birds, cat, many birds". I think that is incorrect though.

    Kilo is close.

It's not a word for word clue, it's more dingbats style.

Wow, excellent delivery, especially with getting two things in the firs picture. Is this a stitch in time saves nine?
