    Default Rise of Mordor Open Alpha v0.2.1


    It is the 25th of March! On this day, two brave Hobbits who were very, very far from home ventured into Mount Doom and destroyed the Ring, ending Sauron's reign of terror.
    In celebration of this, we have decided to release version 0.1 of Rise of Mordor!

    After quite a long time, we have decided that it is unfair to the fans to be kept waiting indefinitely, and it would be best for us to release the content that is currently created. So… here it is!
    We would like to make a few things clear from the start.

    - This is not Third Age: Total War for Attila. This is a completely different mod, and we take our inspiration from the books and the movies. We do not refer to other games or mods
    - The campaign has not been started, and is not going to be started for a long time. There is no point creating a campaign if there are no units to play with
    - The mod is still quite early in development. Only 2 out of 19 factions are completed. If you would like to see our plans, refer to our Trello page or to this image
    - If you want the mod to be developed faster, join the team! We are always looking for more members who are dedicated and can create models to our standards

    Looking at our public Trello board which has all of the unit rosters for those factions that are next in line to be developed.
    This Trello board is used by team members so that we can keep track of which units are planned, how they should look and how to balance them. We are sharing this resource with the community so that anyone who is willing to create any small asset (but doesn’t have the time or necessary skills to become a Rise of Mordor member) can create their own submods. If you post your submod to the Workshop section of the Discord server, the mod will be evaluated by the team’s quality control and may be incorporated in the official Rise of Mordor build.


    Troubleshooting
    - The mod will NOT work on illegal or cracked versions of Attila.
    - If unit names and descriptions aren't displayed, change your game language to English.
    - If the mod crashes at the custom battle screen…
    Go to your AppData folder (try searching for %appdata% with Windows). Mine is located at C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\The Creative Assembly\Attila
    Delete the folder "battle_preferences". This folder stores Attila's custom battle settings, and resetting it should allow it to work.

    29/03/2018
    - Renamed all officer and standard bearer VMDs and entries
    - Fixed CDIR military gen qualities
    - Added White Hand Sappers and White Hand Stormers to Isengard (Tier 4 Suicide Bombers and Tier 4 Infantry)
    - Added Sappers UI group
    - Added Isengard Berserker officer
    - Fixed the UI of sappers, so they show range, speed, missile dmg, fire rate and stuff like artillery
    - Lowered the HP of sappers from 1000 to 750
    - Changed sapper bombs from precursor to not precursor. This means they'll shoot where you want them to shoot, but they won't all shoot at the same time so there might be a few survivors of the unit
    - Other minor stuff I can't remember

    - Fixed the height of Dwarven artillery crews
    - Changed the amount of times resupply can be used from 10 to 5
    - Changed the resupply delay from 75 to 100
    - Removed access to supply wagons for siege defenders
    - Updated various Dale VMDs
    - Gave the Vineland Yardpatrollers, Vineland Watchmen and Vineland Guard a Vineland Guard officer
    - Updated Isengard with a couple of more decals for shields
    - Updated Uruk-hai's skin
    - Added spikes to Uruk-hai helmets
    - Updated some Isengard VMDs
    - Made the Isengard general unit "White Hand Stormers" rather than "Uruk-hai Infantry"
    - Made "White Hand Stormers" and "White Hand Sappers" available to the "Work in Progress" faction
    - Changed "Dale Officer" (cleaver) to use sword and shield instead and "Dale Officer 2" (sword and shield) to use cleaver instead.
    - Changed all Dale Officer 2 inputs in land_units to Dale Officer

    Half-Orc Axes
    Dunland Tribesmen
    Dunlending Horse Raiders
    - Fixed the unique IDs of all units, dunno what it does but may as well do it.
    - Replaced Mobile Testudo with Mobile Shieldwall for every unit except Stormers
    - Changed spacing for a lot of units
    - Added loose spacing to low tier units(edited)
    - Reduced range of sappers from 15m to 5m, hopefully this'll stop them from being able to destroy infantry
    - Reduced reload time of crossbows from 30 seconds to 21 seconds
    - Increased Uruk-hai Crossbow's accuracy from 28 to 40
    - Reduced Very Light, Light and Medium Cavalry mass by 25%
    - Gave an extra +5 bonus attack vs cavalry and elephants to pikes, halberds, billhooks, glaives, spears, barbed spears and longspears
    - Reduced stat_missile_block_chance for attacking testudo, defensive testudo, shield screen and shield wall by 30%
    - Added fire projectiles to Crossbows and Longbows
    - Added Isengard arrows

    Since Creative Assembly have asked us to remove Rise of Mordor from Steam, the team will return to hosting the mod on ModDB and Total War Center.
