    Default List of changes for last months

    My mod has been developed for 12 months already. Here are the changes for last 3 months, when Gold Edition came out!

    31 Jan

    1. Removed 95-100% of Corinthian helmets for units of Grand and Emperor Campaigns.
    2. Added 7 factions as rebels in Grand Campaign: Nova Carthago, Celtici, Sardes, Triballi, Daorsi, Namnetes, Rugii.
    3. Reskinned some greek units (uncluding Spartans).
    4. Increased artillery costs and upkeep.
    5. Auto resolver for player and AI rebalanced.
    6. Added several emblems to factions.
    7. Some minor fixes (including possible Slaves faction rare crash fix).

    1 Feb
    1. Increased units’ limit for Rome in all campaigns.
    2. Increased research time on higher difficulty levels.
    3. Increased naval movement points in double time (including transports).
    4. Some changes to army stances and edicts.
    5. Added several new emblems to factions.

    3 Feb
    1. Fixed recruitment for Carthage and Syracuse in Grand campaign (need start new game).
    2. Fixed bug with zero garrisons in Empire Divided campaign.
    3. Increased garrisons in ED campaign. To all units added recruitment times, limits (caps), AOR regions.
    4. Added new units and reskins of A. Boyarsky to ED campaign.
    5. Some changes to garrisons of Greeks and Carthage.

    4 Feb
    1. Fixed game crash with other party Provoke.
    2. Increased characters' leveling points.
    3. Added new shields to some greek units.

    6 Feb
    1. Fixed game crash with secession for Rome faction.
    2. Added tax penalty on higher imperium levels.
    3. Some minor changes for balance.

    13 Feb
    1. Removed +1000 party loyalty for Rome.
    2. Rebalanced imperium levels’ and some other effects.
    3. Added secessionists as rebels to major factions of Grand and August campaigns.
    4. Redone diplomacy map (Baktria removed) and recruitment for Empire Divided campaign.
    5. Made auxilia to all in ED campaign.
    6. Made all factions playable in custom battle.
    7. Added new emblems to several factions.
    8. Removed cheat ability by sending magic statesmen in any province to get extra food from nowhere.
    9. Made rebels armies stronger.
    10. Now research and building's demolition cost money.
    11. Made all factions playable in ED campaign.

    16 Feb
    1. Added historical walls to 47 cities in Empire Divided campaign.
    2. Germanic Roster expanded for ED campaign.
    3. Added secessionists as rebels to major factions of ED campaign.
    4. Added new units of A. Boyarsky for CIG campaign.
    5. Removed food penalty for imperium levels.
    6. Increased mass for heavy units and horses.

    20 Feb
    1. Added new mercenaries to Emperor Campaign.
    2. Made changes to research and siege times for difficulty levels.
    3. Removed mobs for recruitment.
    4. Some greek units reskinned.
    5. Animations updated.
    7. Some other changes for balance.

    21 Feb
    1. Fixed secession crash for Rome faction.
    2. Updated population script.
    3. Removed vanilla low skilled infantry from recruitment pool.

    1. Added more army caps for AI depending on difficulty level (from 1 to 7).
    2. Added new effects to authority, zeal and subterfuge of generals.
    3. Added 5 Nordo's emblems to factions.
    4. Spartan hoplites now can be recruited in Emperor campaign.
    5. Some other minor changes for balance.

    28 Feb
    1. Added battle formations from nnn900 to improve battle AI.
    2. Generals now gain exp faster.
    3. Added to Sparta War society PO bonus.
    4. Added new units to Meroe, Blemmyes and Axum.

    2 Mar
    1. Added factions' images on start of Emperor and ED campaigns.
    2. Fixed some invisible Etruscan and Armenian units.
    3. Changes to land and naval Roman recruitment in CIG campaign.

    6 Mar
    1. Added 3 new factions to Grand campaign: Samnites, Emporion and Greek cities.
    2. Added 25 unique units to these factions total.
    3. Etruscan now client state of Rome how it was in history.
    4. Recruitment rebalanced for some greek factions.
    5. Added walls to 6 new cities in Grand campaign.
    6. Big spacing between units removed.
    7. Halved income to minor factions in Grand campaign.

    8 Mar
    Mod updated for compatibility with new Desert DLC.

    13 Mar
    1. Added new units to Greek minors.
    2. Fixed diplomatic relations after Patch 19.
    3. Added expansionism penalty to generals’ rank.
    4. Greek and Eastern factions now can improve relations by building temples.
    5. Some minor changes for balance.

    17 Mar
    1. Rebalanced Nomads unit roster.
    2. Fixed issue with sending diplomat zero effect.
    3. Fixed some invisible units’ models.

    19 Mar
    1. All factions (except Latin) got expanded roster to recruit.
    2. Fixed bug when melee units don’t throw javelin in defense.
    3. All missing units added to population script.
    4. AI got more food and income.
    5. Expansionism penalty changed from generals to military barracks.

    23 Mar
    1. Added 5 new units to Egypt.
    2. Some barbarian and ptolemaic spear units reskinned for proper look.
    3. Party influence now affects loyalty.
    4. Civil war chances increased.
    5. Rebalanced imp penalties and handicaps for player.
    6. Fixed bug with population in WOS campaign.

    25 Mar
    1. Expanded unit roster to recruit for Iceni and Suebi.
    2. Increased probability of breaking treaties with bad relations.
    3. Some changes to Public order, political influence effects, etc.


    31 Mar
    1. Improved AI recruitment (less ranged units in armies).
    2. Made AI less aggressive in diplomacy.
    3. Decreased war weariness PO imperium penalty.

    15 Apr
    1. Added 3 unique playable factions to Emperor campaign: Cilicia, Thessaly & Indo-Greek kingdom.
    2. These 3 factions got extra units to recruit.
    3. Added political party effects to factions of Emperor campaign.
    4. Leptis Magna lost walls because of bug and Tarsus got walls.
    5. Some other minor fixes.

    22 Apr
    1. Added several new civil buildings to greek factions.
    2. Now factions can recruit 3 levies from satrapies when research needed tech.
    3. Added new units for Samnites and Emporion (mostly in near AOR zones).
    4. Some eastern units reskinned.
    5. Several other minor fixes.

    24 Apr
    1. Fixed doubled Hastati unit size.
    2. Added recruitment of elephants to Egypt in city level 3.
    3. Handicaps and some units balanced.

    30 Apr
    1. Parthia faction’s recruitment balanced.
    2. Population script’s negative factors nerfed.
    3. Many eastern and steppe units reskinned.
    4. Added new effect to general’s zeal levels: units’ exp gain.
    5. Some other fixes.

    1. African and Arabian factions recruitment balanced.
    2. Fixed errors with Arabian factions’ buildings.
    3. Now generals and units can use abilities only 3 times per battle.
    4. Added new effect to general’s authority - units replenishment rate.
    5. Some minor changes to moral system and units’ stats.

    6 May
    1. Emporion and Cilicia factions recruitment balanced.
    2. Now rebels will recruit different units.
    3. Now military tech research leads to diplomatic penalties.
    4. Added new effect to general’s zeal - defenses in battle (when attacked).
    5. Barricades hit points decreased, but their length doubled.
    6. Mod’s features added in texts of loading screens (for English version).

    12 May
    1. Added new units to all British factions. Caledones and Ebdani now have new roster.
    2. Massilia faction AOR recruitment fixed.
    3. Arrows damage decreased, javelins’ increased. Their types differ now.
    4. Now more armor types have bonus against arrows.
    5. Added new effect to public order - replenishment rate.
    6. Barbarians now able to recruit large ballistas only in Hellenic lands.
    7. Now you can play all factions in Multiplayer Coop campaigns.

    17 May
    1. Now low skilled units for many factions can be hired in near AOR zones.
    2. Garrisons rebalanced with deleting not native units.
    3. Greek island factions and Germanic recruitment rebalanced.

    Game mechanics changing update!


    - Now romans, greeks and east factions need to BUILD their cities from clear spot on barb lands.
    - In vanilla it was unreal when u capture 8m wooden barb city and could make 16m stone city in just 5-7 turns. In fact ancient people needed many years to build stone walls.
    - Building of stone walled city now cost 15000-30000 gold and 20-30 turns (depending on public order)
    - Now u can convert only greek cities, roman cities, barb city lvl 1, east city lvl 1.
    - When u capture any foreign culture city, u will have small native garrison in it.
    - Minor barb cities to which walls were added in REM, could be: a) stay as is with small barb garrison, b) destruct and build small native town with full garrison.
    - Only barb cities could be destructed now.
    - Increased cities’ construction/destruction/conversion time and costs.

    26 May
    1. Now you can convert only greek cities & roman cities of level 1 and 2.
    2. New building cities system added to ED campaign.
    3. New building cities system garrisons rebalanced.
    4. Added tech requirements for civil cities (starting from level 2).
    5. Made changes to CAI to attack enemy cities more often.
    6. Handicaps rebalanced for hard difficulty levels.
    7. Reskinned several Egypt units for proper look.

    1. Added new units to Emporion faction in near aor zones.
    2. Raiding stance effects changed (PO penalty incrised).
    3. Many minor changes made for better gameplay (like rise of pikes damage and heavy horses speed).

    4 June

    1. New missile units’ ability - fire at the ground! Now you can BURN any siege object (like ladder, tower, etc.) without men in it!
    2. Now secession works for Rome faction.
    3. Moral system rebalanced (main: decreased attack in rear negative effect).
    4. Increased to 190 limit for unit: Legionary Cohort.
    5. Provoke removed as game crashing thing.
    6. Increased cost of some political actions.

    14 June
    1. Now all pikemen have historical 256 men in unit.
    2. Raiding stance’ effects fixed. Now enemy will be injured by PO and income penalty.
    3. Expansionism penalties decreased.
    4. Population growth slowed down.
    5. Some other changes for the balance.

    18 June
    1. Balanced recruitment of Pontus, Cimmeria and Trapezos.
    2. No more unhistorical women generals.
    3. Now CAI will build more armies and attack more often.
    4. Increased income of major factions in Grand and Emperor campaigns.
    5. Added new emblems to Kartli and Nasamones.

    22 June
    1. Morale system made more liquid for unpredictable battles.
    2. Population system made harder (decreased buildings’ pop growth).
    3. Professional soldiery reform (for Rome) now need around 100 turns.
    4. Taxes % high levels decreased.
    5. Some other minor changes.

    27 June
    1. No more settlement gifted after sending diplomat.
    2. Gladius damage decreased, pilum stats raised.
    3. CAI has to declare some more wars at bad relations.
    4. No more pikemen as generals fore eastern factions.
    5. Some changes for difficulty levels (like unit costs).

    1. Rebalanced recruitment for Pontus and Armenia.
    2. Cultural conversion now depends also of difficulty level.
    3. Made some changes to Arabian garrisons.
    4. Moral in garrisoned stance now +20%.
    5. Some other changes for balance.

    4 July
    FINALLY i made CAI a real Monster! He is not passive anymore and will attack any city even if it has 40 units (army + garrison)!!! Never saw this before in TW: R2!!! So even with Rem's big garrisons AI will expand well on the map!

    7 July
    1. Rebalanced recruitment for Galatia and all Eastern factions.
    2. Made CAI movement even more rational.
    3. Rome will hire more elite units.

    17 July
    1. Mod adapted to game patch 20 beta.
    2. Heavy units now cost more (depends of difficulty level).
    3. Some minor changes for balance.

    23 July

    1. Barricades removed cause pikes hit through them.
    2. Made diplomacy a little softer.

    24 July
    1. Buffed shield wall/phalanx formation.
    2. Made reskin for some barbarian units.
    3. Some changes to deployables in fort stance.

    28 July
    1. Increased hp for siege vehicles.
    2. Made CAI more rational in regions defense.
    3. Rome faction AI has to hire more elite units.
    4. Rams and siege towers unlocked for AI.
    5. CAI will spend more money on armies.

    1. Rome now have better relations with Greeks and Carthage.
    2. Added military barracks lvl 2 to Pella, Carthago and Antioch.
    3. Made battle animations more smooth.

    7 Aug
    1. Now you can convert only civil cities lvl 1.
    2. Improved relations of Seleucids with Greeks.
    3. Increased caps for silver shield pikes and shield bearers.

    18 Aug
    1. Added city building system to ROTR campaign.
    2. Added faction of Carthage with secession mechanics and 10 new units.
    3. Added 8 mercenary units to recruitment pool of Syracuse faction.
    4. Garrisons rebalanced for all factions in ROTR campaign.
    5. Number of ladders/siege towers increased on 3 average in item.

    2. Made CAI attacking behavior more rational.
    3. Some minor changes for the balance.

    1. Rebalanced units’ AOR and garrisons in ROTR campaign.
    2. Buildings effects in ROTR campaign now affect only its own province (not all provinces).
    3. Made CAI to defend cities more proper.
    4. Decreased political loyalty penalties.
    5. Added to Cartage ability to change government type in ROTR campaign.
