Research Thread: Nabhan dynasty(Oman)

The Nabhani Dynasty was a native Omani Dynasty that ruled Oman between 1154 and 1470 AD.



{The Banu Nabhan controlled the trade on the route via Sohar to the Yabrin Oasis , and then north to Bahrain, Baghdad and Damascus,
Muhammed al-Fallah of the Banu Nabhan emerged as a powerful leader in 1151 and had taken control by 1154.The Nabhanis ruled as kings, while the Imams were reduced to largely symbolic significance. The Imams lost moral authority
since the title came to be treated as the property of the dominant tribe at any time.

The Nabhani made their capital at The Bahla Fort is called Hisn Tammah




The Main Army May Consists of :
Arabs (Arabian peninsula) Sudani (Nubia/Egypt) Somali (ethobia et Somalia) Yamani (Yemen) Farsi (Persian Gulf)

which means that Oman must have a rich Mercenary Khwarizmian\Abbasid\Ayyubids\Ethobian Mercenary and Turncoat Troops due to the neutral and isolated nature of Oman and the Rich Trade in Muscat

Tier 1 : may be Very Similar to Lakhmids and Mazun Factins at the Vanilla Attila,while having Khwarizmian\Persian Mercenary Cavalry and Seljuks Horse Archers,However.Depending on The Light Swordsmen and Very Heavy Spearmen to Guard the Towns,
the Ports Maintained by The Naval of Oman which consisted of Tradional Arabian ships

Tier 2:Very Unique,Very Defensive Role-playing Troops its Aim is To maintain The Mighty Factions from Getting an Inch from Oman,Concentrating on The Heavy Swordsman with organized Cavalry under the Persian Cavalry Officers and Egyptian & Bahrii Mamluks Slavers

Tier 3 : Influenced by Portuguese Naval Exploration on The Arabian Sea ,the Omanii Naval is Very Improved by the New Tactics of Europian Navies while Maintaining an Excellent Trading Post between Europe and India Checkpoints. while Gaining Access to some Ottoman & Persian Auxiliaries


Politician Situation:
-The Main Goal is to Trade and Defend the Trade by all Costs
-Maintaining the Dynasty is Very Rewarding to the Local Population and the Army .
-the Army May Be very Defensive Using Ambushes with Desert and Horse Archers it may be far Better and Economical to let your Mercenary do he Hard-Work.
-The Situation with The Caliphate in Baghdad is Very Hostile
-the Khwarizmi Rulers only cares with the Tattering situation of Mongolian Rise at the borders which Gave Oman A chance to dominate the Arabian Sea.
