Can't stop loading the game..
I have this bad habit to load the game whenever something bad and unexpected happens..
If I lose a town or a battle i tend to reload the game to play the battle over again until i beat them. If my spy, assassin, priest or merchant failes or dies under a mission i reload and try it again until i succeed unless the % is very low.
This tactic gives you a perfect campaign status, but you lose alot of the satisfaction with the game making it less realistic.
I've tried many times to play without loading, but after a few rounds and I get more and more settlements I can't stop doing it.
Am I the only one doing this? Any tips to stop exploiting the loading?

I wish I could do that, im sure the game would be much slower and more exciting. I've already won the game as England and Egypt and I completed it before the Timruids arrived. .
I'm now working on the scots with Lusted's mod and its definetly a major Improvment over the original MTW I'm still loading but maybe I'll try one on H/H when I finnish this campaign, still I doubt I'll start loading when im far in the game.

It's your game, so if reloading is fun for you I see no problem.
However, it sounds as though you're a little annoyed by it yourself. Perhaps one way to go would be to adopt a more role-playing style thought process - if a character fails at a task, think about why they might have failed. Use your imagination and turn the game into a story you tell yourself.

I do that too sometimes, but not because I lost per se, it's because, if I for example fail a siege because of numerous mistakes, I will reload to learn from the mistakes and thus better myself.
However, sometimes a loss is just a loss, and it's more fun to get a win after a bitter defeat. Never look ahead too far or you'll start skipping your own defences.

i barely ever save it anyway so if i did reload it i would go back so many turns it would be pointless
