I'm pretty happy with this tbh. Save games are broken but QOL updates are needed. Family tree is welcomed as well. A pity sales are over but I might consider picking up my the next DLC now.
Nah I don't mind, someone was going to find it eventually, and most of us knew what was roughly coming after that announcement back in June!
After 5 years CA should fix lag fest in massive siege battles..
Found the tile_map for the new DLC, showing the shape of the campaign map. Each pixel is a battlefield tile map, and a big square is a settlement / special map (e.g. Teutoburg Forest) / cluster of maps (e.g. forests), yellow coasts are disembarkable/embarkable, red coasts are cliffs. I don't see many settlements on this one; they're usually found along roads as big squares, but this one doesn't have many... maybe it's a sign that they'll be bringing back Attila's horde mechanics to Rome II, relying on fewer settlements?
By the way, "inv" does mean "Invasion" after all (seeing lots of "main_invasion" files in the db).

Nope, totally different map - below is the Prologue map, which is a lot smaller in comparison.

@Benjin
Leave the new DLC stuff and get me the sexy building icon pack of yours buddy.
This was probably already posted somewhere but the playable political parties are the Insubres, Iolei, Rome, Samnites, Senones, Syracuse, Taranto, Veneti, Tarchuna. New subcultures for etruscans, iapygians, nuragic, etc.
Also that map would make a great Social War scenario map
Edit - Woops benjin beat me to it!
Happy to see the content of the new update, but a bit dissappointed if the new campaign dlc is what I'm thinking it is: "Invasion" is for Gallic Invasion. And yeah, Benjin, please finish up your building icons :-) I like them a lot.
So, what kind of armies we will be seeing in this DLC?
"We will bring Rome to them not because of the strength of our legions, but because we are right"
"The Romans had left marble and stone, brick and glory."

As ever, I'll just urge a little caution with data mined information. It may be spot on, but it may not or it may be something totally different to what we guess.
We now return you to the speculation in progress...
@Benjin. And yes, that latest info sounds very interesting. Thank you for sharing it.
All the Best,

Man, this may be dope as hell.
Looking forward to this
It sounds almost like we are getting even the horde mechnics from Attila?
