My solution is the quickest; the only thing is that you have to rename your new song with exact name of songs used by the game.

I use music from old medieval and renamed them to medieval 2 titles and all works perfectly. Also I copied bell sound for end turn and battle events like enemy general killed etc. from old medieval. I just dont like voices from medieval 2.
