Uooohh really impresive friend! I see a lot of new improvements and new textures for the new release! Looking forward to play with them!

On the other hand, would it be possible before the new release to make several AOR units?

    1. New AOR unit: Flemish militia (Goedendag weapon) for Flemish areas and settlements.

    2. Steppe AOR units, in the steps for all factions who control these areas, available in the basic levels of barracks/ stables. Dismounted cuman militia and Horse Warband (cumans) as AOR units.

    3. Andalusian AOR units, in south of Iberia. Andalusian spearmen and andalusian archers (if it is possible to change archers for crossbowmen) as AOR units available in barracks.

    What do you think?

These are perhaps good ideas... let's hope that they enter into @Jurand's future plans, because if I am competent in making AOR units possible, I am not concerned with their integration in terms of concerns their recruitment. This part of the mod is entirely his responsibility; Unless he decides to give this responsibility to someone else, we will have to wait for his decision.

Of course kostic, We are waiting for news from Jurand, the truth is that he has had little activity in the sship forum lately, it could be that he is quite busy in his real life... let's hope that when he gets time he can listen to our proposals and continue with the new release.

Hello Kostic, in reference to your list of units, I don't know if you are currently working on something specific, but would it be too much to ask that for the next version you also modify the models of Magyar Cavalry, Magyar Nobles, Andalusian Spearmen, Andalusian Archers and Black Guard? I think these units still have ugly vanilla models or models that are already repeated with other units... As always, thank you for your great work on the historical units!

Here's the new "armoured urban militia" look for the Moors. Basic version and version with enhanced protection.

Sooo great kostic!now these models have a real appearance!

I think maybe they could be renamed as " Andalusian urban militia" recruitable only in the south of Spain, or more generic Moorish urban militia recruitable in all largue cities conquest by Moors... Maybe i think that you should review their stats, i think they were so op.

For other hand i leave you the link with my old proposal for andalusian units in Iberia ( from January 2023) , here there are some pictures and information for the rework of andalusian spearmen and andalusian archers/crossbowmen.

Little by little all old vainilla units will be replaced by your wonderful and historical units!

Hi kostic i noticed that units of Mounted Yasi, Alans horse archers and Magyar Nobles have the same models and the same case for another 3 units ( Cuman horse Warband, Georgian Naquivachari, and Mercenary Steppe Polotsvy ), the 3 units have the same cuman model.

Furthemore i try the Norman units and dont have voices for HRE and Hungary ( Norman sergeants, Norman knights and aslo dismounted)

And finally i dont see your garrison units in the campaign, i only see them in the custom battles ( only garrison archer and crossbowmen ) in this last version is not possible play with them?

1- Yes, there are different units using the same model. This is a provisional choice made by my predecessors to complete the lists. I'll see one day if I can work on it.
2- For the sound of "norman serjeants", I'm not competent. It seems to me that @Cephalophore had worked in this field...
3- Yes. @Jurand didn't include them. There are several units that should have been added and are not.

Perfect friend, in my opinion would be great that you will improve and rework the 2 magyar units ( magyar nobles and magyar cavalry) , if yes, you almost would had finished the current hungarian units, i will bring some pictures and information in the hungarian thread after for support your work..

And of course you know that I would be very excited if you finished the Andalusian and Iberian Unit roster, for example a rework of the Andalusian Spearmen, Andalusian Archers and rework of Berbers and Bedouins units (old vanilla units) but of course when you have time and little by little ... For now i will give more rep for your great work in the last sship release my friend!

As usual your unit work is wonderful friend! Now we have a pretty historical Andalusian Jinetes! Moors and iberian factions deserve some love hehe , i look forward to see the rest of Andalusian units with your unit models! And also i would like that our partner Jurand cand modify the "bug" of iberian mailed knights ( available in early game and all iberia)

For me part i will continue improving historical and inmersive descriptions text for units, dont worry in write the text descriptions friend, save your time in this issue...

    Keep the good job!

Kostic now that I am modifying unit recruitment for my minimod, a question. If I want to make a unit like AOR for all factions, (Andalusian units in Andalusia lands for all factions), is it necessary to create all the textures for all factions? or can it be done without modifying it and adding it in the battle.model file?

On the other hand, how are you doing with your latest progress? something planned in the short term?
