How do you delete landbridges from map

Hi I am using the BigMap,It would be nice to get rid of the landbridges between England and mainland europe also the bridge between Scotland and Ireland.My personal pref is for naval invasions any help would be most welcome.regards magpie

Thanks Selenius,I have opened tga with paintshop pro 8 but am having a problem selecting right tool to delete arrows any ideas.magpie

Just take pencil tool, make ur colour black, draw over the green arrows.

Thanks Selenius,I have deleted the landbridges using paintshop my method was a little different.I opened the map_features tga and the map showed a bare outline in blue with the green arrows i used the pen tool doule left clicked target arrow then brought down the edit tool double left clicked the target area then right clicked to bring up menu slecked delete and closed file.A popup asked me to save changes i agreed and closed pasted new map into big map file overwrote old file deleted map rwm and started new campaign it worked a charm no more landbridges.sorry to go on but this info may help someone else.regards magpie.

Hi Selenius sorry about the bad grammer.I tried your method today using the brush tool it was much easier to use and less hassle.Also you could choose the bridges to delete rather than clearing the whole lot.I bow to your surpieror method.regards magpie
