Mine does opens alex cas files, it's a newer version, improved by redfox:
Regarding the sparabara, they have a new animation that makes them thrust both under- and overhand. I'm currently thinking if we should give hoplites the same animation.

Amazing mod idea!
Mundus Bellicus - TWC - ModDB - Discord - Steam
~ Patronized by Gaius Baltar, son of the Great Family of imb39, of the House of Garbarsardar, of the Noble House of Wilpuri.
Thanks, we're working on it to make it more than just an idea
Why, would you send your work to CA and ask them to create a patch for Alexander?
If that happen, which I doubt, what would happen to the retail version of Rome Total War - Anthology (RTW, BI, and Alexander). Should that version be excluded of your work in a official game patch by CA?
Wouldn't be better to let this become an Unofficial Alexander Patch, similar to what UOP and USKP (also for Skyrim Special Edition - SSE) is for Oblivion (UOP) and Skyrim (USKP).
Under patronage of General Brewster of the Imperial House of Hader.
How to make Morrowind less buggy for new players - Of course every player may find it useful.
I like your model tweaks Robbe, some of them look fresh and unique. By the way I noticed you are using 3dsMax 2016. How did you manage to fix .cas export problems with this 3dsMax version?
For some reason I'm only able to use 2012 version without problems.
Also I noticed that some of your unit formations, specifically cavalry and peltasts, are too dense, soldiers are either too close to each other to fight effectively, or too close that it is even possible in reality. Hope that would be fixed in release version.
What about me, I'll probably take a break after RTR 8 modding for a week or two, have some books reading, TV series watching and maybe XC campaigning. If you will need help with UI cards, email me: lanjane@yandex.ru
Don't run too far, you will have to return the same distance.

Nobody will try to figure it out if you are made of glass or of metal. They'll treat you the same way.
When you show your strength, you'll find a company of those who want to steal it from you, but your weakness, you'll be all alone with it.

Lanjane's Barbarian Empires * Barbarian Empires: Hellenistic Legacy * Extended Cultures V * Rome - Total Realism 8 * Lanjane's Mini-Workshop * Rome: Total Music
Because that way people would play alexander online again.
Well that version has issues with Windows 7, 8 and 10 and if they really wanted to update that version they could provide a patch installer.
Or perhaps as a standalone Game on steam on which I would allow CA to make profit from it.
For some reason I'm only able to use 2012 version without problems.
I get a ctd if I load a battle with a model exported by redfox new' version of the cas tool so I can use that one only to import. I use the old cas tool to export. Also I have problems importing RTW's vanilla trees.
Well Alexandros Megas suggested those spacings.
Thank you very much for your offer!
That would be great! You still have the files of the Alexander mod you were working on, right?
I highly doubt CA would touch Alexander ever again.

It's very ambitious Robbe and I wish you well but I cannot envision CA/Sega taking interest in anything Rome1/BI/Alexander again, that's not the future of good business as far as they are concerned , millions of "new" kid's worldwide = multi-millions of new $$$$$ = Warhammer etc

Guys, thanks for the patience and we know you missed us . The blog reached the first big target 1000 views . As a big thank you ,bros i would like to propose me topics that of course are related to the Alexander the Great and I will choose one to write in the blog !!!
https://alexanderthe3d.blogspot.com
Perhaps you could do a 'what if alexander didn't die so early in a parallel universe and faced carthage and rome'.
Also our slack workspace is active again so feel free to join the discussions
Meanwhile Alejandro magno will expand the map to iberia. This will be one of the largest maps ever seen in a RTW mod.

Excellent work! I always love Mods that comes with huge Maps. The larger the Map is, the better!
Write about the persian cavalry !
Robbe nice idea!! I will definitely write articles about different possible continuations of Alexander's campaign. But for now I want you tell me your opinion about my last article The Granicus battle with the newest material available after Patrick's contribution.
