Requesting Info on Possible "Battlefield Assassins"
Seeing the amazing ammount of research you guys provided on some VERY interesting Bohemian units (Varlets for example) I was wondering if you could shed some light on the Hungarian unique units.
In Medieval II, they have "Battlefield Assassins" and thier unit scroll says "Descended from an obscure order of knights" thier shown with Hungarian shields and curved swords, they basically function like Hashashin without arrows.
Now when I saw them (they are sort of a battlefield terrorist unit) they reminded me quite a bit of the Varlets.. they also seem like something you would find on Eastern European battlefields.
So is there any basis behind them, or anything similar? At all?

ChivTW has not such a unit for Hungary. If you are interested in Hungarian and border region discussion, then i recommend come over to SCC, as there is running a discussion about these regions.
Btw., Hashashin weren't historically a real battle-unit, so their reflection in MTW(2) is rather misleading. I recommend to read a bit about them.
