We won't be making any more playable factions for now. We have enough on our plate as it is You can always play the AFP submod if you want one of those factions.

Playables aren't just as simple as unlocking them. You have a lot of other stuff that goes into them, and we have quite a few overhauls planned already for 1.2.3 that we will be previewing soon.

However, having said that, I would like to have a future specialized AFP submod after we are done with the main mod. I have a lot of submod ideas, one would be picking some select factions to make a bit better in the AFP mod.

I would like to see Judea from the the IA campaign made playable. I'm reading The Army of Herod the Great and think it would an interesting faction.

Here's my 3 votes for better AFP factions in the future:

    Knossos
    Cyrene
    Etruscan

I have played all three of these one region factions using the AFP submod over the years and have had fun, challenging campaigns with all of them.

Cyrene will be covered by Maga's submod. I also did the Ancient Greek localization for it.

Yeah I knew that. I was just trying to throw in an easy one for Dresden to make it easy on him

Yeah, Cyrene, Etruscans, Aetolian League, Axum, Cimbri, etc would all be good as a sort of mini-AFP improved submod. Then if they are worked on enough and perfected there, some could transition to the main mod one day.

Ι favor Etruscans for a future integrations, though I would love to see Aetolians too.

Maybe we can tone down our machism. Every time women appears in "unhistorical fashion" in a game some comments are dumb and juvenile, much more "critic" than other unhistorical "manly" features, crying about hidden liberal agendas. Don't be afraid of women, and enjoy the alternative history all this games provides. After all they are just games, even if the historical part is important, don't turn them in an excuse for scream your insecurities.

if you don't like female generals, don't recruit them, or use them as governors.

HernanU, I'm not sure if you've actually read the thread, but you are the only one that comes across as whining about women right now.

Most of the frustration in this thread is about locking four factions that were previously playable behind a pay wall.

The rest has been civil discussion on features of the DLC and what we will be doing with the mod.
