I really enjoy the female voice acting, even the barbarian one. There should be a submod for only female leaders for barbarians just so I dont have to listen to "COME SIT BY MY FIRE" lol

I just tested a siege battle, and even though there is no FPS gain, they fixed something important. After latest patch troops on walls running in the right direction immediately without any hesitation, before this patch troops had legacy problems with pathfinding on walls, it was very irritating. Important fix CA, thanks.
I don't know. I had a unit of hoplites go through the staircase to the top of the wall to attack an enemy unit, and then I could not get the hoplites to leave. Eventually, half the unit went back down to the street, and the other half stayed on the wall. There were breaches on the wall nearby, but that was before I ordered my unit to go there.
How is the dlc so far guys? positive, negative?
Didn't bought yet.
Bought? I'll never buy a dlc from CA again. You don't have to buy it to play, unless you want the now locked factions. So far there are all kinds of wonky diplomatic things going on. Beyond that, haven't seen anything interesting other than ideas circulating around what DeI will do with capitals.
yeah, I know what the dlc has in (i intended patch too, didn't open the game still).
Dirty work as always for the team!![]()
Now at least it seems that you can eventually send one of your characters on a successful diplomatic mission. That's some improvement already!

Guys, I took a pause from playing the game and now I'm trying to get back in, so forgive me if I'm not up to date with the recent changes. My question is: are those previously available desert factions locked forever unless I buy this Desert Kingdoms DLC or they will be available for free in a future DeI update? I'm also asking this on behalf of a friend I recently got into playing Rome 2 with this awesome mod.
I think you'll have to buy them.
They will stay locked forever since they're DLC factions.![]()
Poor Numidians.
So much for my dreams of a kushite kingdom
Unlocking factions that has been put behind a DLC pay wall is a Surefire ticket to Legal happy fun time for the mod team.
There is of course, nothing wrong with us picking the faction next to these now locked factions, overhauling them and making them playable.
But what factions would be more interesting/have enough research and documentation on to replace the DLC factions?
