    Default Question about reformating

Granted reformatting is a straight forward process and all, but my computer seems to think otherwise. I tried reformatting my computer yesterday and came to the partion screen, and I clicked on delete partion. But, a message popped up and said that it could not be carried through because it contains temporary files needed to complete the set up. So, now my computer is in technology induced purgatory. How do I rescue it/ fix it?

    Thanks,

If you really want to format get DBAN.

Load the computer from the windows disk (meaning you set your CD/DVD drive as the first boot device in your BIOS), and just do what you did before in terms of reformatting.
