    (Work on the mod began December 30, 2016)

    Mod is created based on a series of games Disciples, based on Medieval II: Total War.
    Unlike the games of the Disciples series, where the fighting has a rather localized character, in this modit will be possible to conduct global campaign.

    Disciples: Total War version 0.4 demo [fully in Russian]

    - Download and install the utility Large Address Aware
    (if the utility is missing)
    - Download the archive by the link and extract the folder D_TW along the way Medieval II Total War\mods
    - Run the mod through the batch file

    For those who are not familiar with the series game:


    Disciples is a turned based strategy game originally developed by Strategy First. Game play greatly resembles Heroes of Might and Magic however, with new approaches in strategy:



    • Combat units are limited to the leadership of the hero
    • Heroes have 3 different classes. The starting hero will affect bonuses for the selected race throughout the game: Warrior, Thief or Mage
    • Unlike HoMM, where you can stack the same creature type in a single unit, Disciples only uses one creature as a whole unit
    • Creatures (not just heroes) gain experience and may be upgraded when it reaches the appropriate experience requirement. Creature upgrades also have a unique "technological tree" which may lead to different type of creature upgrades for the same creature
    • Each race has a capital city, inhabited by a powerful guardian.


    The story revolves around the struggle between the gods and their chosen races, with each series further explaining this continued struggle:

    • The Highfather - The Human Alliance
    • The Dwarven God Wotan - The Mountain Clans
    • The Undead God Mortis - The Undead Horde
    • The Demonic God Bethrezen - The Legion of the Damned
    • The Elven God Gallean - The Elven Alliance (race introduced in Disciples II: Rise of the Elves).

    Portraits are made, for cultures of Undead and Dwarves. Portraits for culture of Barbarians are taken from Rome: TW.
    Each culture has up to twenty portraits. Five, - used by scouts and murderers, fifteen - generals; in turn, out of these fifteen portraits of generals, five are selected for diplomats, merchants and magicians (priests). Each culture uses its own personal background for portraits.
    Portraits made for captains (all factions), dead characters / agents (all factions) and portraits for family members in the family tree (all factions) are also made.

    Very impressive. Disciples is very good game. How would u represent hierophant and prophet in game as next level priests?
    Also Idont remmber Orthodoxy as religion in Disciples series althou Faith is quite similar to it.
    Inquisitors and grand inquisitors will be special agent units or combat ones?
    Same goes for spellcaster branch of units for all factions?

    This is not Orthodoxy, in the traditional sense of the word. This religion will be in vogue for all rebels and replaces heresy, the one that was in Medieval 2:TW.

    They will be available for the five main factions on the strategic map.

    Inquisitors and grand inquisitors will be special agent units or combat ones?
    They will simply be units of the Empire.

    They are healers. Neither healers nor buffers from the Disciples will be in vogue, as they can not be realized in m2tw.

    I was thinking not as units in combat view more like agentson strategic view. Game has acolyte, cleric, priest, imperial priest and hierophantas agentsspreading Faith or u gonna use Angel for that?As i remember in Faerun mod u have spellcaster units that were cloned as catapults or other siege equipment.

    When I talked about the impossibility of implementing healers, I meant fighting on a tactical map.
    As for agents on the strategic map, we have not yet decided who will be. A mag or a priest? Treatment will be presented as a spell on the strategic map.

    Oui bravo! It come from Montréal I think by Strategy First. I well know this game the 2nd was by far the best and one of the best game ever. I will put it anytimes on my top 10 of best game of all time. Sure MTW2 it the 1st(Well maybe 2nd as BG2SoA it hard to beat and I got lot of CtD issue with MTW2 in the pass, it pretty touchy to install when you dont know but now I know, CtD are almost a thing of the pass) but I think Disciples saga will make a great mod, keep the good work.
    I owned the 1st edition and the gold edition of Disciples 2 in the time. The art it so awesone and that so good for your imagination. The music is great too.

    Do you have a plan for the summoned units like the Valkyries?
