Hello everybody.

From now on we'll use this thread for your questions concerning the 2 Pic competitions we're having.
So feel free to post here and please keep the other 2 threads for your submissions only.

There is an official TWC Screenshot competition that I'm the head honcho of if anyone is interested. Its got the two categories you've suggested, Edited and Unedited plus a category for non-Total War screenshots, and a video category for Total War campaign/battle footage.

CE is surely great for enriching your pics and graphics.

Mmmmm what is a edited picture or unedited? If i use gms fx ad infinitum preset is that considered as edited or not edited?

I would say edited but to include stuff like GEM or ReShade in that category since you can produce photoshop-esque results.

Also in general I think that means virtually everyone can participate without feeling too daunted about not owning a picture editing software of their own.

Using a preset like GEM or Reshade is fine guys. Edited is using Photoshop or another photo editing program.

CE is amazing - the only drawback is that on huge battles and/or blob battles, it slows FPS to a crawl.

If anyone knows how to actually make the hotkeys work to turn off the draw distance in CE during a battle, please share!

But seriously, you can be zoomed way out and in certain light conditions it really does look like an entire legion of Roman troops marching under your airship.

I need to discuss with the rest of the team if we'll have a separate thread for every competition-lottery or a dedicated one, with all of them included. What's the best from your experience ?

No I meant a dedicated sub thread for our future competitions or just random ones every time.
But your point is quite good actually. Do you believe a separate submission option will be better ?
