For the patch, all you do is extract the files into the data folder? Like I mentioned, the mod launched before I installed the patch this way.

Almost same here
Mod launchs fine, but when i extract the files from patch game just want run. Initial loading screen and before arrowed cursor comes in it just drop to desktop.
I got pikes BAI mod and Alb23 modified deployment zones, but both work well with the mod without patches.

Did you had RotR activated when extracting the Patch? And does the game runs when deactivating RotR?

I have take a look ar RotR before installing IS, but i think i have deactivated it right. I will see and perhaps delete all and reinstall Empire and then IS with patches and see if that solves the problem. Will tell hoy. Thanks

RotR has to be activated when installing the Patch 1. And no need to reinstall ETW. There is an unistaller that comes along with the Launcher.

Sorry, my mistake. I was talking about installing IS 2.2,1b nor RotR.

Hello,I've been having issues launching the game,it took me 6 times to download the mod before figuring out I need to go to the IS files and there to install it (everything else didn't work so that was the only thing that got me to the launcher),and after that,I used to launcher to switch to the mod,launched it,showing me the very very starting loading screen thingy,very hyped,and then it crashed,idk why but yea it crashed,so I'm here

I've also been having problems with getting the mod to work. The mod is installed fine and the "play" option is available but for some reason, the empire total war screen starts up and then closes. How do youb guys think I can fix this problem?

Hi,

Some noticed bugs in ROTR 1.2:
When interacting with British fort in Acadia region, with two marine units inside, game crashes, specially if I select fort and zoom out.
And when exiting from campaign, game freezes after asking are you sure.

Clean Empire install, no other mods.

I have tried to install RotR but installer says that I have already installed it and does not allow to continue installation? I have made a clean installation of ETW and deleted all related files from my computer before installing any mods. Looks like there is still somewhere in hidden my old RotR files but I just can't find them.

Please, could someone help me with this issue? When I try to install, it says at first: "It looks like you have already this version of Imperial splendour:Rise of the Republic installed.Do you want to re-install it?"(though I don't have RotR installed) Anyway, when I click "Ok" and continue installation it says: "There was an error preparing the upgrade.Please delete any remaining Imperial Splendour files manually and try again." I have searched every IS and RotR files from my computer and deleted them and I have also made clean installation of ETW(many times). I have installed RotR once before and it may be that I didn't unistall it correctly. So is there still some hidden files somewhere and how can I find them?
