Motorhead came about when rock started entering its 'pussy' days when men stopped acting like men and started acting like pansies.

glam metal had arrived with hairspray and makeup 'motley crue', 'bon jovi' 'twisted sister', 'def leppard' and a load of other shitemeisters came along prancing about looking like chicks and making a mockery of rock,apart from a few bands (ac/dc,iron maiden) rock was going through a pussyfied stage in its evolution.

but amidst this hairspray and poofery was 1 band paving themselves over the dick-wad competition

playing faster and louder than any band before with heavy distortion and and a swagger.

motorhead obliterated all other bands at the time,they didnt care if there records only sold 10 copies they wanted to rock!
they drank whiskey,bedded hundreds of babes, took drugs, wore leather, rode harley davidsons and destroyed thousands of peoples eardrums and made no apolgies for it!

they were true rockers and influenced the likes of metallica,megadeth and slayer.

one of the loudest fastest and greatest bands of all time...Motorhead we salute you!

motorhead is good, but it always sounds like some kind of primitive thrash metal

Not my kind of Music really, but I admit to having a heck of a time when I saw them live, ended up with the standard T-Shirt, and two CDs I never listen to.

Motorhead does indeed rule, one of few band grew up on that I dont feel like an idiot for still liking Weirdest thing for me is the fact Lemmy is a Brit while the style/sound is pretty much American and no not provoking a debate or anything just always found it odd since it clashed big time with other Brit giants, Maiden, Priest etc.

They're great. Lemmy's voice is unique.
One of my fav songs of them is called "Dogs of War". I've got lots of downloaded musics of them also.

Motorhead are great, it's a pity that the only song people know by them is Ace of Spades though.

Lemmy is the kind of person when he moves next door to you his lawn doesn't die. Your's does.

And that is why Lemmy is metal. I love Motörhead.

New Wave of British Heavy Metal is my favorite genre of all Metal. Maiden, Motörhead, Saxon, Venom, Blitzkrieg, etc..

I'm going to see the amazing The Who, Bloc Party (these two for free) and Arcade Fire (a cousin of mine is probably going to interview them).

I love the Motorhead's song "Dogs of War". I can't remember much, I also like "We Are Motorhead". Lemmy's unbeatable in what he does.
