I've been playing as Romani for 2.3 and I've noticed that sometimes when I'm chasing down routing units with Kurepos (and also maybe the 1st Romani BG unit), the cavalry don't kill nearly as quickly as they did in 2.2r.

Upon closer inspection, it seems that the cavalry repeatedly "pulls back" their overhand strike during the chase and what ensues is just a mass of horsemen running alongside routing units without really getting hits in.

They don't always do this. When they do, I find that simply repositioning them while chasing units down and reordering the attack fixes the problem usually.

I haven't confirmed it yet but it seems that this is just a problem with overhand cavalry units I've played with so far.

(Btw, I'm LOVING the new Italian units. Props to the EB2 team!)
