    Default Artillery accuracy and unit commanders.

    Is there any way to make artillery more accurate? The mod I'm working on has cannons, and I want to be able to have an upgraded version, probably with an engineer (unit commander), which will be 50% more accurate.

    It would also be very nice if the unit commander could shoot a handgun while the rest of the unit manned the artillery, is this possible?

    You could link to the thread. Im too lazy to find it but isnt it just enough if you removed the "crewmen" model and textures with an renamed "spearmen" model and texture?

    You actually want descr_projectile_new.txt. Just change to bits in red to change the accuracy. Remember lower is better.

    As for the handgun thing, won't work as long as the crew is using the siege guns. Open descr_projectile for accuracy. Lower numbers are more accurate: ie hangunners .035 and muskets .001

    As for upgraded unit, I can't think of any besides actually adding a new unit to the roster.
