Permanent temples in cities - how did you guys do it? Questions about battle map settlement editing...
Per the discussion I've started in the SSHIP and Stainless Steel sub-forums, Cathedrals and Mosques disappearing when factions of other faiths conquer cities, I'd love to know how you guys permanently edited the original base model settlements from De Bello Mundi to have permanent temple/religious structures on the battle map, no matter what was built for religious structure building trees on the campaign map. On top of that, I'd like to know if there's a way to avoid having the temple/religious buildings wiped out when a faction of another culture takes over your settlement. Your mod basically achieves this already, since I conquered plenty of various other polytheistic peoples as Koinon Hellenon, and yet this did not destroy their temples, needing to be rebuilt from the ground up. The player is basically able to upgrade them!
This is a problem in so many other M2TW mods, but somehow you guys figured out how to bypass these problems entirely. How'd you do it?
Inquiring minds want to know, both here and in the SSHIP forum.
In the medieval period such structures were re-purposed and converted to the faith of the conquerors, such as Catholic churches and Orthodox churches made into mosques and mosques made into Catholic Churches or Orthodox churches.

Temples aren't auto-destroyed in EBII because they have no religious conversion factor in them. If a building has both a religion and either the city or castle tag in the EDB, they auto-destroy when someone of a different religion takes them.
