    Default Villa of Aurelius Bonifatius

Found outside the town of Agatha, the villa of Bonifatius is a fairly bare home. Resembling more a waystation for workers and soldiers than the permanent residence of a noble of the Empire, the villa nevertheless possesses a grandeur unseen in the settlement nearby.

With the ascension of Theodosius, and the Christian worshipers who cried out his name, Bonifatius has found himself without a posting to the border. It was because of his upholding of his principles that saw him cast aside like a stray dog, his years of service meaning little. And yet he could not seem to turn despondent by his withered career. Instead his powerless position had opened up the opportunity to secure the economic fortunes of his family. So it was that Mauritius arrived to a villa in warm activity, instead of a dull and dreary dwelling that would have been the home of a less spirited man.

"Ave, brother," Bonifatius announced when the Roman was brought into his audience.

"Ave, Bontifatius, how have you fared of late?" Mauritius asked, "I see you also find yourself without a position to your name."

The Roman noble has his servants bring his visitor into an open room, furnished with chairs and tables covered with the furs and silks that were the fashion of the lands. "Ave," he said by way of greeting. "This is a pleasure." Anything that would break up the monotony of his days was something to relish. I will have to make a move, he decided darkly. There had to be others who could make his desires a reality.
